Background: Peer tutoring is a process of accompaniment carried out by a student with certain features and skills, whose objective is to support and guide, academically and emotionally, other students who may require it.
Aim: To assess the experience of medical students who played the role of peer tutor.
Material And Methods: We carried out semi-structured in-depth interviews, with prior informed consent, to a non-probabilistic and intentional sample of six students who performed the role of peer tutor, during 2017 and 2018.
