Purpose: This is a single arm phase 2 trial (Clinical trials.gov NCT05291780) to assess local control (LC) and safety of SAbR in patients with unresectable locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer (LA-NSCLC) unfit for concurrent chemo-radiation therapy (ChT-RT).
Methods: Neoadjuvant ChT was prescribed in fit patients.
In the last two decades, studies of lymphoscintigraphy imaging in lymphatic mapping reported an extreme heterogeneity of skin lymphatic drainage of some skin area, in contrast with the previous scientific literature. The aim of this study was to investigate the presence of any correlations between the topographical location of cutaneous melanoma and the topographical location of sentinel lymph nodes. Data from 165 patients undergoing sentinel lymph node biopsy between January 2013 and May 2021 were analyzed, demonstrating that melanomas in the Lumbar region presented a significant more heterogeneous drainage by site than those in the Scapular region ( < 0.

This group of diseases manifests with episodes of apnea and hypopnea of central or obstructive origin, and it can be disabling, with several drawbacks that interfere in the daily patient life. The gold standard for their diagnosis and grading is polysomnography, which is a time-consuming, scarcely available test with many wired electrodes disseminated on the body, requiring hospitalization and long waiting times.

Brain radionecrosis was registered in 6% of patients. With the aim to obtain similar satisfactory outcomes and limit toxicity, we started a phase II trial in which reirradiation of BM with SRS were done using a tighter patient selection.

Methods: Patients with LACC underwent chemo-radiation with IMRT and SIB. Staging and follow-up were performed with clinical evaluation and CT, MRI, FDG-PET/CT.
Background: Solid neuroendocrine carcinoma of breast (NECB) is extremely rare. In this paper, we present a case of inflammatory primary solid neuroendocrine carcinoma of breast managed by surgery and chemotherapy and a brief review of the epidemiology, clinical features, diagnosis, pathologic features, treatment, and prognosis of solid NECB.
Methods: A 63-year-old woman was admitted in our institution with inflammatory primary solid neuroendocrine carcinoma of breast.
A comparative study between perfusion magnetic resonance (MR) imaging and single photon emission tomography - computed tomography (SPECT-CT) was performed to disclose the indications and limits of the two techniques for brain tumour characterization. We compared these two techniques because they evaluate the entire brain and often a brain tumour can be too large to be studied entirely with MR spectroscopy. Forty-three patients with 56 lesions were studied with both techniques.

Methods And Materials: Between September 2001 and October 2008, 69 patients who recurred after WBRT were re-irradiated with SRS using a linear accelerator. The dose prescription was generally chosen according to maximum diameter of the tumor as suggested by Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG) 90-05 protocol.
Aims And Background: Few clinical data exist concerning normal brain tissue tolerance to re-irradiation. The present study evaluated long-term outcome of 22 recurrent glioblastoma patients re-irradiated with radiosurgery or fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy.
Methods: Twenty-two patients were treated with radiosurgery (13, 59%) or fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy (9, 41%) for 24 lesions of recurrent glioblastoma.

The influence was evaluated of four rootstocks (Ishtara, Mr. S 2/5, GF 677 and Barrier 1) and of harvesting time (early, middle, late) on the quality characteristics and nutritional value (vitamin C, phenols, carotenoids, total antioxidant capacity) of 'Flavorcrest' peach. The better rootstocks were Mr.

Mean CSF NSE levels in patients with Alzheimer's disease did not significantly differ from those in controls, although in the AD group a correlation was found between NSE levels and severity of cognitive deficits. In VD patients, CSF NSE was lower than in controls or in AD patients.
