Background: Neuroimaging studies have shown that hypothalamic/thalamic nuclei and other distant brain regions belonging to complex cerebral networks are involved in cluster headache (CH). However, the exact relationship between these areas, which may be dependent or independent, remains to be understood. We investigated differences in resting-state functional connectivity (FC) between brain networks and its relationship with the microstructure of the hypothalamus and thalamus in patients with episodic CH outside attacks and healthy controls (HCs).

Aims: The aim of this study is to assess the sleep quality and daytime sleepiness improvement in chronic migraineurs after 6 months of a 2:1 KD (ketogenic diet) and LGID (low-glycemic-index diet).

Methods: Twenty-six patients underwent 2:1 KD (11 patients) and LGID (15 patients). PSQI (Pittsburgh sleep quality index) and ESS (Epworth sleepiness scale) were administered at the baseline and the 3-month and 6-month follow-up.

Objectives: We report the discovery and description of three human teeth from the Middle Paleolithic archaeological levels of Arbreda Cave (Serinyà, Catalonia, NE Iberian Peninsula).

Materials And Methods: The teeth, two molars (one right dm and one right M) from Level N (older than 120 kyr) and one P from Level J (dated between 71 and 44 kyr), were morphologically described based on microCT images and compared with Neanderthal and Homo sapiens specimens.

Results: The teeth belong to a minimum of three individuals: one adult and one infant from Level N and one juvenile from Level J.
