The congenital extrahepatic portosystemic shunt is a rare anomaly characterized by aplasia or hypoplasia of intrahepatic portal venous branches that generate complete or partial extrahepatic shunting of portal venous intra-systemic veins. The clinical presentation is variable, including nausea, abdominal pain, anorexia, and jaundice. This entity has been associated with other congenital anomalies, and the most common are the cardiovascular anomalies.

The most common location of liposarcoma is in the extremities, followed by retroperitoneum, with the bone and trunk being the less frequent presentations. The most common histological subtype is well-differentiated liposarcoma, which has the highest local recurrence, is slow-growing, and is insensitive to chemo and radiotherapy.

Purpose: This multicenter, retrospective cohort study aimed to compare the risk of ulnar nerve injury in pediatric supracondylar humeral fractures treated with percutaneous lateral-pins, blinded-crossed-pins, and crossed-pins with a mini-incision.
Methods: Data were collected from 1705 children treated between January 2010 and December 2023 at four orthopedic centers in Colombia. The incidence of postoperative ulnar nerve injury was compared among three fixation techniques: lateral-pin, blinded-crossed-pin, and crossed-pin with a mini-incision.
Everyone has used homemade pimple drainage at some point in their lives, particularly in their adolescent and early adult years. However, pimple drainage should always be considered a mild medical procedure, especially in cases where the patient has serious skin diseases. We present the case of a 22-year-old female patient who, in the course of her routine, made a home pimple drainage that resulted in periorbital cellulitis and a septic embolism, despite the fact that these types of clinical cases are uncommon in routine medical practice.

Within this is a rare subtype known as seborrheic pemphigus or Senear-usher syndrome which is characterized by broken blisters and crusts involving the seborrheic areas.
Case Report: A 40-year-old female patient, initially treated in a first level unit for a condition of 45 days of evolution, characterized by thick scabby lesions with an erythematous base, pruritic and painful, located in the center of the face, with posterior extension towards the abdomen, thorax, and extremities.
