Introduction: The aging population is associated with increased osteoporosis and risk of hip fractures. Cognitive decline has recorded exponential increases in the last decades, with the rise in life expectancy.

Material And Methods: We conducted a prospective study on 65 patients over 65 years old associated with dementia and hip fractures.

The Impact of Dementia on Patients with Hip Fracture.

Hip fractures are a serious global health concern with a substantial impact on senior patients' mobility, quality of life, and morbidity. Patients with psychiatric pathology may experience heightened levels of distress, making pain management more challenging. The presence of multiple comorbidities may complicate the therapeutic management of hip fractures.

MRI Findings in Axial Psoriatic Spondylarthritis.

Psoriatic arthritis is a significant medical condition with a high prevalence, a wide variety of non-specific symptoms, and a high degree of overlap with other spondylarthritis disorders, particularly ankylosing spondylitis. Hence, knowledge of the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) manifestations and a multidisciplinary strategy are required for the better management of these patients. We searched publications from the last 10 years and focused on the most relevant ones which discussed the classification criteria, the MRI characteristics of axial psoriatic arthritis, the importance of MRI for follow up, and the reliability of skin and synovial biopsy.
