Background: Transparency can build trust in the scientific process, but scientific findings can be undermined by poor and obscure data use and reporting practices. The purpose of this work is to report how data from the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study has been used to date, and to provide practical recommendations on how to improve the transparency and reproducibility of findings.

Methods: Articles published from 2017 to 2023 that used ABCD Study data were reviewed using more than 30 data extraction items to gather information on data use practices.

Objective: To evaluate and compare the flexural strength of conventional flowable, bulk fill flowable and highly filled flowable resins.

Materials And Methods: Thirty 2mm x 2mm x 25mm specimens of Tetric N-Flow (TNF), Filtek Bulk Fill Flowable Restorative (FBF) and Beautifil Flow Plus F00 (BFP) flowable resins were made up; they were distributed into three groups according to brand (n=10) and stored in distilled water for 24 hours at 37ºC. The 3-point bending test according to ISO 4049 was performed on a universal testing machine at a speed of 0.

Hydroponics refers to a modern set of agricultural techniques that do not require the use of natural soil for plant germination and development. These types of crops use artificial irrigation systems that, together with fuzzy control methods, allow plants to be provided with the exact amount of nutrients for optimal growth. The diffuse control begins with the sensorization of the agricultural variables that intervene in the hydroponic ecosystem, such as the environmental temperature, electrical conductivity of the nutrient solution and the temperature, humidity, and pH of the substrate.

Introduction: the tibial slope has been identified as one of the factors associated with graft failure after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction; however, its relationship with functional results has been little studied. The main purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the tibial slope on functional recovery in patients undergoing reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament.

Material And Methods: we included patients with a diagnosis of anterior cruciate ligament injury undergoing primary reconstruction, from May 2018 to May 2019, who had a complete radiographic and clinical record; also, the scores from questionnaires of the International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) and Lysholm scores were collected pre surgical procedures and throughout the one-year follow-up.

Objective: To evaluate the maximum compressive stress in maxillary central incisors restored with fiberglass posts and three types of crowns by the FEM finite element method.

Materials And Methods: The study was a virtual, descriptive, and laboratory trial. Three virtual models were made using the SolidWorks 2017 software from upper central incisors rehabilitated with fiberglass posts and a metal-ceramic crown, a monolithic lithium disilicate crown, and a zirconium-ceramic crown.

Recently, several studies have introduced nanotechnology into the area of dental materials with the aim of improving their properties. The objective of this study is to determine the antibacterial and mechanical properties of type I glass ionomers reinforced with halloysite nanotubes modified with 2% chlorhexidine at concentrations of 5% and 10% relative to the total weight of the powder used to construct each sample. Regarding antibacterial effect, 200 samples were established and distributed into four experimental groups and six control groups (4 +ve and 2 -ve), with 20 samples each.

Purpose: This study aimed to compare the microshear bond strength (µSBS) of dual-cure resin cement in CAD-CAM zirconia after different cleaning techniques.

Materials And Methods: Fifty discs of zirconia-based ceramic from Ivoclar Vivadent were embedded in acrylic resin. The discs were divided into five groups according to the cleaning methods used: Group 1: drying with spraying + sandblasting with AlO; Group 2: washed with water and dried with spraying + sandblasting with AlO; Group 3: washed with distilled water and dried with spraying + sandblasting with AlO + zirconium oxide (Ivoclean); Group 4: washed with distilled water and dried with spraying + sandblasting with AlO + potassium hydroxide (Zirclean); and Group 5: washed with distilled water and dried with spraying + sandblasting with AlO + 1% NaClO.

The transplant of organs is one of the greatest therapeutic achievements of the twentieth century. In organ transplantation, the adaptive immunity is considered the main response exerted to the transplanted tissue, since the principal target of the immune response is the MHC (major histocompatibility complex) molecules expressed on the surface of donor cells. However, we should not forget that the innate and adaptive immunities are closely interrelated and should be viewed as complementary and cooperating.

We investigated the ability of mifepristone, an anti-progestin drug, to modulate the cytotoxic effect of cisplatin in two cervical cancer cell lines and in human xenograft cervical tumors. The effect of cisplatin alone or combined with mifepristone on cellular proliferation was studied with the XTT assay which use a tetrazolium dye {sodium3'-[1-(phenylamino-carbonyl)-3,4-tetrazolium],XTT}. Before and after treatment with mifepristone, the intracellular accumulation of cisplatin in cancer cells and tumors of mice was evaluated by HPLC.

A method for determination of cis-diaminedichloroplatinum (II) (cisplatin) in ultrafiltered plasma, cell, and tumour samples is described. Cisplatin separation was carried out on a reversed-phase column using methanol-acetonitrile-water as the mobile phase. The flow rate was maintained constant at 1.
