Introduction: Tension-type headache (TTH) is common but challenging to manage due to limited effectiveness of conventional treatments. This study examines six complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) interventions through network meta-analysis to identify effective TTH management strategies.
Methods: We searched PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, OVID, CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, and CBM databases for randomized controlled trials on CAM for TTH treatment.
Objective: To identify factors and assess to what extent they impact the magnitude of the treatment effect of acupuncture therapies across therapeutic areas.
Data Source: Medline, Embase, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Database, VIP Database, and China Biology Medicine disc, between 2015 and 2019.
Study Selection: The inclusion criteria were trials with a total number of randomised patients larger than 100, at least one patient-important outcome and one of two sets of comparisons.
Herbal/botanical monograph, first emerging abroad, includes the scientific conclusions on safety and effectiveness of herbal medicine/botanical medicine, as it is often compiled by drug regulatory authorities. It is designed to unify the related technologies in this field and evaluation standards for review. Thus, herbal/botanical monograph is vital for the internationalization of Chinese medicine and being inscribed into the herbal/botanical monograph of target country is the first step for drug registration there.

A facile synthetic approach to prepare environmentally friendly white fluorescent carbon dots (CDs)/ZnO quantum dots (QDs) composites through electrostatic force is described. This method can be used for fabrication of high-performance white light-emitting diodes (WLEDs). The fluorescence emission spectra of WLED devices covered a range from 425 nm to 750 nm.

Experimental results show that as a non-biodegradable organic pollutant, HA is also difficult to be decomposed by microbes in the anaerobic reaction process. Presence of HA and changes in the concentration have no significant influences on the total cumulative methane production and the anaerobic methanization process of granular sludge.
