Background: Injectable poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA), under the brand name of AestheFill (REGEN Biotech, Inc., Seoul, South Korea), is a biocompatible, biodegradable, and biostimulatory product utilized to correct soft tissue volume loss. Its efficacy and safety have not been fully studied in a large cohort.

Congenital Infiltrating Lipomatosis of the Face: Case Report and Literature Review.

Rationale: Congenital infiltrating lipomatosis of the face (CILF) is a rare disorder characterized by collections of nonencapsulated mature lipocytes that infiltrate surrounding tissues. In this article, we would report a new case of CILF, which may be one of the first few cases reported in China.

Patient Concerns: An 8-year-old boy presented with a hyperplasia of subcutaneous tissue of his left face, which had been gradually progressing since birth, resulting in a marked facial asymmetry.

Objective: Clinical application of autologous fat grafting (AFG) is quickly expanding. Despite the widely acceptance, long-term survival rate (SR) of AFG remains a question not yet solved. Methods: A retrospective study enrolling 23 female patients (42 breasts) who received breast deformity correction from June 2008 to June 2012 with acellular dermal matrix and implant were performed.

This article attempts to reveal the importance of the latency period in the prevention and early treatment of the malignancy.
