Purpose: Fibroblast activation protein (FAP) is highly expressed in cancer-associated fibroblasts and certain tumor cells, making it a promising therapeutic target for various malignancies. This study evaluated the efficacy and safety of 177Lu-Evans blue-FAP inhibitor (177Lu-LNC1004) radioligand therapy (RLT) for treating end-stage metastatic tumors.
Patients And Methods: This single-arm, single-center, phase II trial included 28 patients with progressive metastatic malignancies (11 types) and high FAP expression (defined as a maximum standardized uptake value ≥10 in >50% of tumors) who had exhausted all approved therapies, screened between June 2022 and April 2024.
Metal ion-doped organic-inorganic hybrid metal halides have emerged as promising room-temperature phosphorescence (RTP) materials owing to their tunable afterglow properties and significant potential in information security applications. However, optimizing RTP performance and achieving dynamic control over afterglow colors remain challenging in 1D hybrid systems, primarily because of the inefficient energy transfer from RTP-active organic components to external emissive sites. Herein, we report a novel 1D hybrid metal halide benchmark material, [(NBP)CdClHO] (NBP-Cd, NBP = -benzylpiperidone), and a series of Mn-doped derivatives, NBP-Cd:Mn (where represents doping levels from 1% to 50%).

Methods: 96 patients were randomly assigned to either the taVNS group or the sham stimulation group. Patients received stimulation once 30 min before the operation and once more 24 h after the operation, with each session lasting 30 min.
Farming activities contribute to soil antibiotic pollution, posing health risks for rural farm workers, especially on small farms in impoverished regions. The effectiveness of large farms in reducing poverty-induced soil antibiotic exposure risk (SABER) remains uncertain. Here we integrate global datasets on concentration of soil antibiotics, rural farm-worker employments and on-farm working hours to quantify SABER.

Nevertheless, the development of resistance to DDP significantly diminishes the effectiveness of DDP-based chemotherapy in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). In this study, we investigated the impact of endothelin 1 (EDN1) on the resistance to DDP in NSCLC.

Herein, the influence of FT cycles on As forms, available As, and microbial community structure in paddy soils was investigated. After 60 FT cycles, the content of exchangeable As and residual state As decreased by 1.

Herein, in this study, Pt single-atom (SA) loaded magnesium oxide (MgO) nanosheet catalysts were prepared, which exhibited the dual effects of anchored sulfur and activated oxygen that greatly enhanced the catalytic oxidation efficiency of methyl mercaptan (CHSH), and 90 % complete oxidation of CHSH could be achieved by Pt SA/MgO at 325 °C, with an oxidation efficiency that was 8 times higher than that of MgO nanosheets. A series of characterization results indicate that the valence state of Pt in the Pt SA/MgO catalyst ranges between 0 and +4, demonstrating its inherent electron-donating capability.

Methods: We prospectively analyzed patients with diagnosed or suspected breast cancer who underwent concomitant FAP-targeted PET/CT (radiotracers including either [Ga]Ga-FAPI-46 or [F]FAPI-42) and [F]FDG PET/CT scans from June 2020 to January 2024 at two medical centers. Breast ultrasound (US) imaging was performed in all treatment-naïve patients as SCI.
Climate change and human activity are increasing the frequency of wildfires in peatlands and threatening permafrost peatland carbon pools. In Northeast China, low-severity prescribed fires are conducted annually on permafrost peatlands to reduce the risk of wildfires. These fires typically do not burn surface peat but lead to the loss of surface vegetation and introduction of pyrogenic carbon.

Detecting trace amounts of aflatoxin B (AFB), one of the most toxic food contaminants, is crucial for efficiently preventing potential health risks. Circular aptamers are promising candidates for bioanalytical applications due to their enhanced biological and structural stability as well as their compatibility with rolling circle amplification (RCA). Herein, we employed a high-efficiency magnetic chain graphene oxide-based SELEX to generate circular aptamers that bind AFB with high affinity and selectivity.

Circular DNA aptamers, with their dramatically enhanced biological and structural stability, hold great potential as new-generation DNA-based anticoagulants. However, the functional selection of circular aptamers and large-scale synthesis of them remains a substantial challenge.

We recently reported on a novel dimeric FAP-targeting radiopharmaceutical, Ga/Lu-DOTA-2P(FAPI), which demonstrated increased tumor uptake and prolonged retention in various cancers. However, further exploration is required to understand the therapeutic efficacy and underlying mechanisms of combining Ga/Lu-DOTA-2P(FAPI) radioligand therapy with PD-1/PD-L1 immunotherapy.

Therefore, it is important to calculate the bottom thickness of the gas film accurately in the design stage. A calculation method for the thickness of a conveyor air cushion was derived based on the mathematical model of the air cushion flow field for a multi row uniformly distributed air cushion structure.

Purpose: Workplace violence (WPV) against healthcare workers is a significant public health issue in China and globally. Although the effort-reward imbalance theory claimed that work rewards may moderate the relationship between work effort and WPV, the quantitative evidence is limited. This study aimed to examine if work reward could moderate the associations between work effort and WPV against medical staff based on the effort-reward imbalance theory.

Profenofos, as a typical chiral organophosphorus pesticide, can cause various environmental problems and even endanger human health when used in excess. The toxicity of chiral profenofos was investigated through multispectral analysis, molecular docking, and density functional theory (DFT), employing human serum albumin (HSA) as the model protein. Fluorescence titration and lifetime measurements demonstrated that the interaction between chiral profenofos and HSA involves static quenching.
