The main challenge lies in achieving a uniform distribution of nanoceramics across low to high concentrations within the polymer matrix while preserving mechanical properties and biological performance essential for successful osseointegration.

Methods: This study utilized 3D printing to fabricate PCL scaffolds enriched with nanosized synthetic smectic clay (LAP) to evaluate its effects on structural, chemical, thermal, mechanical, and degradative properties, with a focus on in vitro biological performance and non-toxicity.

Acquired Von Willebrand Syndrome as a Presenting Manifestation of Monoclonal IgM-Producing Non-Hodgkin's B-cell Lymphoma.

Acquired von Willebrand syndrome (aVWS) is a rare hematological disorder depicted by dysfunctional or deficient von Willebrand factor activity and can be associated with underlying hematological malignancies such as non-Hodgkins lymphoma (NHL). This case report examines a patient with aVWS secondary to NHL and highlights the challenges in managing bleeding and optimizing a patient for surgery. The case report will explore the multidisciplinary approach to recognizing aVWS, treatment modalities, and adjunctive measures to reduce bleeding risk as well as long-term management.

The effect of telehealth on clinical outcomes in patients with hypertension and diabetes: A meta-analysis of 106,261 patients.

Introduction: Telemedicine, propelled by recent technological advancements, has transformed healthcare delivery, notably benefiting patients with chronic non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as systemic arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus. This meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials aimed to assess the efficacy of telehealth-based interventions on disease control rates and clinical parameters among NCD patients, including systolic and diastolic blood pressure (SBP and DBP), fasting blood glucose (FBG), and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels.

Methods: We conducted searches in PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Database for interventional studies that compared tele-monitoring with usual care in patients with hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Crohn's disease (CD) is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) characterised by endoscopic inflammation, progressive bowel damage and gastrointestinal lesions. Analysis of household waste production in Ecuador: Limitations for sustainable management in local communities.

Municipal solid waste management is one of the greatest challenges for environmental sustainability and well-being in developing countries, where the infrastructure and financial resources required to carry out such services are often lacking.
