Results from this large, multicenter study suggest that patients with a confirmed ciprofloxacin, moxifloxacin, or levofloxacin hypersensitivity reaction are likely to tolerate other fluoroquinolones. Avoiding different fluoroquinolones in patients labeled with a ciprofloxacin, moxifloxacin, or levofloxacin allergy may not always be mandatory.
