Spontaneous intracranial hypotension (SIH) may lead to cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT). This case report describes the diagnostic and treatment processes used for a patient with CVT caused by SIH due to spontaneous spinal cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leakage in the high cervical region.
