Article Synopsis
  • - Bladder cancer is a prevalent and serious cancer affecting the urinary system, with current treatments including surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy, but there's a pressing need for new therapeutic targets to improve patient outcomes.
  • - The study identified RAB38 as a protein linked to advanced bladder cancer features, such as higher stages and likelihood of recurrence, with its depletion leading to reduced cancer cell growth and movement.
  • - Overall, the findings suggest that RAB38 plays a crucial role in bladder cancer progression, making it a potential new target for treatment strategies.
