Objective: To detect phenolic acid compounds in various fruits and explore the differences in phenolic acids among different types of fruits.
Methods: The collected 75 types of fruits were classified into 6 categories: citrus、melon、drupe、berry、tropical fruit and pome fruits. The phenolic acid compounds were detected by high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.

Xueshuan Xinmaining Tablets and Capsules are two Chinese patent medicines with the same prescription, different preparation methods but the same function of replenishing Qi, activating blood, opening orifices, and relieving pain. Xueshuan Xinmaining Capsules were qualitatively analyzed by UPLC-Q/TOF-MS for the first time, and 61 compounds were identified, including 9 phenolic acids, 10 bufadienolides, 15 saponins, 5 bile acids, and 22 other compounds. The chemical composition was slightly different between Xueshuan Xinmaining Tablets and Capsules.

Red yeast rice(RYR) is fermented rice with a long history of medicinal and edible purposes in China. RYR has gained global popularity, particularly in South and Southeast Asia, Europe, and America, due to its blood lipid-lowering effect and abundant edible natural pigments. However, concerns have been aroused regarding the safety of RYR due to increasing reports on the side effects and toxicity associated with statins and mycotoxins in RYR.

Based on substrate specificity, PPs are classified into protein serine/threonine phosphatases and protein tyrosine phosphatases (PTPs). PTPs can dephosphorylate phosphotyrosine and phosphoserine/phosphothreonine.

Objective: Investigating the causal relationship between inflammatory cytokines and Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) and identifying and quantifying the role of serum ferritin as a potential mediator.
Methods: Genetic summary statistics were derived from open genome-wide association study (GWAS) databases. We conducted a two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis to investigate the relationship between inflammatory cytokines (8,293 individuals) and NAFLD (8,434 cases, 770,180 controls).
Avermectin B1a, a widely used pesticide, has recently raised safety concerns since it possesses potential cytotoxicity toward mammalian cells. Nevertheless, the exact mechanisms that underlie the cytotoxicity induced by avermectin B1a remain elusive. The loading of the mini-chromosome maintenance 6 protein (MCM6) onto chromatin at replication origins by chromatin licensing and DNA replication factor 1 (CDT1) is an essential step for licensing DNA for replication.

Unsupervised Domain Adaptation (UDA) has shown promise in Scene Text Recognition (STR) by facilitating knowledge transfer from labeled synthetic text (source) to more challenging unlabeled real scene text (target). However, existing UDA-based STR methods fully rely on the pseudo-labels of target samples, which ignores the impact of domain gaps (inter-domain noise) and various natural environments (intra-domain noise), resulting in poor pseudo-label quality. In this paper, we propose a novel noisy-aware unsupervised domain adaptation framework tailored for STR, which aims to enhance model robustness against both inter- and intra-domain noise, thereby providing more precise pseudo-labels for target samples.

The recent advent of mass spectrometry technology has enabled the identification of abundant O-GlcNAc transferase (OGT) substrates in diverse biological processes, such as cell cycle progression, replication, and DNA damage response. Herein we report the O-GlcNAcylation of Replication Protein A2 (RPA2), a component of the heterotrimeric RPA complex pivotal for DNA metabolism.

However, there is still disagreement regarding the specific roles of each type of immune cell in the pathological process of RA.
Methods: This study used bidirectional two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis to determine the causal relationship between immune cell characteristics and RA.
Heatstroke is a condition caused by overheating of the body that leads to severe central nervous system dysfunction. Although there have been numerous studies on the pathological process of heatstroke, effective treatment methods are lacking. Astragaloside IV can protect the brain from inflammation and brain damage in various inflammation-related diseases, but it has not yet been used clinically for the treatment of heatstroke.

In this study, ethylene-vinyl acetate was selected as the intermediate layer to prepare EVA/polyurethane (PU) leather composites. ESEM, tensile property test and compressive property test were used to characterize the microstructure and physical-mechanical properties of the composites.

Methods: Free phenolic acids in fruits were extracted using methanol through ultrasonic extraction. Conjugated phenolic acids in the centrifuged residue were released by alkaline hydrolysis and extracted with ethyl acetate.

Aurantii Fructus Immaturus(AFI) is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine with multiple origins from Citrus aurantium and its legally cultivated variants. With advancements in agricultural biotechnology, many new cultivated varieties have sprung up,leading to an abundance of AFI adulterants and chaos in the herbal medicine markets. This study developed a specific identification method for AFI and its closely related adulterants by examining the appearance trait, content of extract, and multiple ingredients, involving indicators such as the ratio of pulp capsule to cross section diameter(Pc/Cs ratio), the content of extract, and the profile of 11 ingredients.

Treatment of alkyl α-(-heteroaryl)-α-diazoacetates with alkylating reagents affords diazoacetate N-heteroarenium salts. These novel 'onium' diazo compounds are mostly yellow solids, displaying increased thermal and acid stability. Their tetrafluoroborates undergo rhodium catalyzed [2 + 1] and Doyle-Kirmse reactions under mild conditions, suggesting the -quaternization an effective means of elimination of -coordination caused catalyst toxicity.

Methods: A Bayesian optimal interval design was used to prospectively identify the safety and tolerability of escalating doses of intraperitoneal paclitaxel at weekly treatments for 3 weeks, followed by a 1-week break, and then three additional treatments. The primary objective was to define the maximum tolerated dose.
Soybean (Glycine max) is a globally important crop; however, its productivity is severely impacted by phosphorus (P) deficiency. Understanding the transcriptional regulation of low P (LP) response mechanisms is essential for enhancing soybean P use efficiency. In this study, we found that the Nuclear Factor-Y (NF-Y) transcription factor GmNF-YC4, in addition to its previously discovered role in regulating flowering time, possesses other functions in modulating root morphology and P uptake.
