This study aimed to investigate the impact of chronic cerebral hypoperfusion (CCH) on cognitive function, amyloid-β (Aβ) deposition, cellular autophagy, and mitochondrial dynamics in an Alzheimer's disease (AD) mouse model, and to evaluate the intervention effects of autophagy modulation on these outcomes. Utilizing the APP/PS1 mouse model combined with CCH, we assessed cognitive function, Aβ deposition, and the expression levels of relevant proteins through behavioral tests and immunohistochemical analysis. Our findings revealed pronounced cognitive deficits and increased Aβ deposition in the AD + CCH group mice, along with upregulation of mitochondrial fission proteins (Drp1, Fis1) and downregulation of mitochondrial fusion proteins (Opa1, Mfn1), indicating a shift towards mitochondrial fission and promoting cell apoptosis.

Radionuclide therapy is expected to be a powerful tool for glioma treatment. Here, we introduce a novel nuclear nanomedicine based on polydopamine (PDA), incorporating fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPI) and macrocyclic chelator (DOTA) for specific cancer targeting and 177Lu labeling. The synthesized nanoradiopharmaceutical, 177Lu-DOTA-PEG-PDA-FAPI, exhibits good stability in serum, saline and PBS over 5 days.

The construction, use, and maintenance of tritium-related equipment will inevitably produce tritium-containing radioactive waste gas, and the production of efficient catalysts for tritium removal remains a difficult problem. Herein, silicalite-1 zeolite with entrapped Pt nanoclusters is skillfully post-oxidized at an appropriate temperature, building highly active Pt─O sites on the nanoclusters to achieve efficient oxidation of hydrogen isotopes at low temperatures. To address the health risks posed by microplastics (MPs), this work developed a poly-l-cysteine (poly-L-cys)-based electrochemiluminescence (ECL) sensor for detecting MPs in water environments. The porous structure of poly-L-cys film can regulate the generation of copper nanoclusters (Cu NCs) in the pores, effectively limiting the migration and aggregation of nanopaticles. In addition, poly-L-cys film also acted as co-reactant promoters, promoting electron transfer and effectively enhancing ECL signal of Cu NCs.
