Objective: Charcot arthropathy is characterized by varying degrees of sensory loss and rapidly progressive joint destruction. Historically, limited studies indicated that Charcot arthropathy of the hip joint may be a contraindication for total hip arthroplasty (THA). Yet, some recent studies have shown that good clinical results and acceptable survival rate.

Utilizing the APP/PS1 mouse model combined with CCH, we assessed cognitive function, Aβ deposition, and the expression levels of relevant proteins through behavioral tests and immunohistochemical analysis. Our findings revealed pronounced cognitive deficits and increased Aβ deposition in the AD + CCH group mice, along with upregulation of mitochondrial fission proteins (Drp1, Fis1) and downregulation of mitochondrial fusion proteins (Opa1, Mfn1), indicating a shift towards mitochondrial fission and promoting cell apoptosis.

Here, we introduce a novel nuclear nanomedicine based on polydopamine (PDA), incorporating fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPI) and macrocyclic chelator (DOTA) for specific cancer targeting and 177Lu labeling. The synthesized nanoradiopharmaceutical, 177Lu-DOTA-PEG-PDA-FAPI, exhibits good stability in serum, saline and PBS over 5 days.

Herein, silicalite-1 zeolite with entrapped Pt nanoclusters is skillfully post-oxidized at an appropriate temperature, building highly active Pt─O sites on the nanoclusters to achieve efficient oxidation of hydrogen isotopes at low temperatures. The designed Pt─O sites can directly participate in the oxidation reaction of hydrogen isotopes.

The porous structure of poly-L-cys film can regulate the generation of copper nanoclusters (Cu NCs) in the pores, effectively limiting the migration and aggregation of nanopaticles. In addition, poly-L-cys film also acted as co-reactant promoters, promoting electron transfer and effectively enhancing ECL signal of Cu NCs.

Methods: We utilized a mouse model of middle cerebral artery occlusion and treated mice with umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells derived exosomes. Proteomic analysis identified AAK1(AP2 associated kinase 1) as a key target protein.
Purpose: Clarification of cisplatin resistance may provide new targets for therapy in cisplatin resistant ovarian cancer. The current study aims to explore involvement of isoforms of AU-rich element RNA-binding protein 1 (AUF1) in cisplatin resistance in ovarian cancer.
Methods: The cancer stem cell-like features were analyzed using colony formation assay, tumor sphere formation assay and nude mouse xenograft experiments.
Recent advances in targeted protein degradation (TPD) have propelled it to the forefront of small molecular drug discovery. Among these, hydrophobic tagging (HyT) strategies have garnered significant interest. Carbon-based hydrophobic tags have been recognized as effective Hyts for degrading a variety of target proteins.

Background: Brain structure changes after long-term adaptation to the high-altitude environment; however, related studies are few, results are in consistent, and long-term effects on cognitive function and pathophysiological mechanisms are unclear. Therefore, diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) was used to investigate the damage to white matter fiber tracts and correlations between brain structural abnormalities and cognitive function.
Methods: Forty healthy Han people living on the high-altitude and 40 healthy Han people living on the plains were enrolled in this study and underwent magnetic resonance imaging, emotional state assessment, and cognitive function tests.
Epilepsy is a prevalent and disabling neurological condition characterized by recurrent seizures. Approximately 50% of adults with active epilepsy have at least one comorbidity and they are at a greater risk of premature death than the general population. Gentiopicroside (Gent) is a primary component of Pall.

However, growing evidence suggests that there is a potential risk for humans and animals because of the accumulation of ZnO NPs in cells, which leads to cell death through several different pathways. Nevertheless, the effects of ZnO NPs on porcine granulosa cells (PGCs) and how ZnO NPs regulate the follicular cells are unknown.

In this real-world study, we aimed to retrospectively observe the efficacy including tumor response and event-free survival (EFS), and safety of PD-(L)1 blockade-based neoadjuvant treatment versus chemotherapy alone in potentially resectable gastric cancer patients with microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) or mismatch-repair deficient (dMMR) status.
Methods: We retrospectively collected the clinical data of patients with potentially resectable gastric cancer and MSI-H/dMMR status who received neoadjuvant treatment followed by D2 gastrectomy at the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University from January 2019 to June 2023.
Objective: The study aimed to investigate whether 3D-printed titanium implants modified with magnesium and zinc ion surfaces can promote oral soft-tissue closure.
Method: New Zealand Great White rabbits were selected as experimental animals, and the left and right side mandibular teeth of each animal were randomly divided into an experimental group and control group, each with 18 cases, and the bilateral first premolar teeth were extracted after general anesthesia, and implants were implanted into the magnesium/zinc ionized surface-treated and the surface-untreated groups, respectively.
Results: Under naked-eye observation, the combination of implant material and surrounding soft tissue in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group; fluorescence staining showed that the fluorescence density value of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group (p < 0.

Curcumin has gained global attention owning to its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anticancer, and antimicrobial activities. Curcumin has recently been shown to have well-documented effects on neuroinflammation in multiple sclerosis (MS). Astrocytes, the most widely distributed glial cells in the brain, have a significant influence on the regulation of neuroinflammation in MS.

First, SnS QDs@MXene Ohmic junctions was developed as efficient ECL emitters. The Ohmic junction provided a low resistance to reduce the contact resistance and improve charge injection efficiency, which enhanced the ECL signal by 2.

Currently, surgical decompression, drugs and rehabilitation are primarily used to relieve symptoms and improve endogenous repair mechanisms; however, they cannot directly promote nerve regeneration and functional recovery. SCI can be divided into primary and secondary injuries.
