Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (Allo-HSCT) remains the mainstay of treatment for adults with high-risk acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Due to the crucial role of measurable residual disease (MRD) before Allo-HSCT in predicting relapse and the promising anti-leukemia effect of blinatumomab, we documented a short-course, low-dose conditioning regimen incorporating blinatumomab for Allo-HSCT in three ALL patients with positive MRD. Following the administration of the blinatumomab-containing conditioning regimen, all patients attained complete remission (CR) with negative MRD status, and no severe adverse events were observed.

Accurate assessments of the impact of thermal discharge from power plants on the marine ecosystem remains a significant challenge. This study provided high-resolution observation during two high-productivity seasons to investigated the biogeochemical impacts of thermal discharge in Dapeng Cove, Daya Bay. The surface footprint of the thermal plume was hardly discernible during summer, likely due to intense solar heating of the water surface, but rapid biogeochemical decomposition of organisms still occurs.

N-termini Cyano group (CN) in metal hexacyanoferrates (MHCF) have been identified as specific-affinity sites for palladium (Pd), but C-termini CN do not effectively serve as Pd adsorption sites due to their stronger bonds with the metal ligands (M), which reduces the activity and density of CN. Herein, the optimization of directional coordination of cyano group C/N-termini by modulating the electronic structure of the M (Fe, Co, and Ni) in MHCF was investigated to reinforce the Pd recovery. Spectroscopic analyses and DFT calculations revealed that NiHCF exhibited N-site mono-coordination, whereas CoHCF displayed C-site mono-coordination due to spin-exchange interactions, leading to the strengthened N-Co bonds and weakened Fe-C bonds.

Silicosis is a systemic disease marked by diffuse pulmonary fibrosis resulting from prolonged inhalation of crystalline silica (CS) dust. This study aimed to examine the effects of anisodamine (ANI) on pulmonary inflammation and fibrosis in silicosis, as well as to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanisms. Animal experiments demonstrated that ANI significantly reduced alveolar structure damage and the formation of silicosis nodules in affected mice, as confirmed by pathological slides.
