The purpose of infrared and visible image fusion is to combine the advantages of both and generate a fused image that contains target information and has rich details and contrast. However, existing fusion algorithms often overlook the importance of incorporating both local and global feature extraction, leading to missing key information in the fused image. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a dual-branch fusion network combining convolutional neural network (CNN) and Transformer, which enhances the feature extraction capability and motivates the fused image to contain more information.

This paper explores the development of 3D-printed self-sensing Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) by incorporating graphite (G) powder, milled carbon microfiber (MCMF), and chopped carbon microfiber (CCMF) as additives into the UHPC matrix to enhance piezoresistive properties while maintaining workability for 3D printing. Percolation curves were established to identify optimal filler inclusion levels, and a series of compressive tests, including quasi-static cyclic, dynamic cyclic, and monotonic compressive loading, were conducted to evaluate the piezoresistive and mechanical performance of 29 different mix designs. It was found that incorporating G powder improved the conductivity of the UHPC but decreased compressive strength for both mold-cast and 3D-printed specimens.

The charging and discharging of satellite surfaces induced by the space plasma environment constitute a primary cause of spacecraft anomalies, particularly in geosynchronous orbits subject to geomagnetic substorms and hot plasma injections from the magnetotail, where satellites are prone to unequal high-potential charging, significantly impacting the safe and reliable operation of spacecraft. Addressing the need for measuring these unequal charge states, a high-precision, wide-range spacecraft potential measurement method based on capacitive voltage division was investigated. This study analyzed the mechanism of potential measurement and the factors contributing to errors during the measurement process, explored optimal design methodologies, and innovatively developed a fundamental charge zeroing method to resolve output drift issues caused by accumulated errors fundamentally.

Carbon fiber (CF)-reinforced polyimide (PI) resin matrix composites have great application potential in areas such as rail transport, medical devices, and aerospace due to their excellent thermal stability, dielectric properties, solvent resistance, and mechanical properties. However, the epoxy sizing agent used for traditional carbon fiber cannot withstand the processing temperature of polyimide resin, of up to 350 °C, resulting in the formation of pores or defects at the interface between the fiber and the resin matrix, leading to the degradation of the overall composite properties. To overcome this problem, in this study, a low-molecular-weight thermosetting polyimide sizing agent was prepared and the processability of the sized carbon fiber was optimized by a thermoplastic polyimide.

With the rapid development of hydrogen pipelines, their safety issues have become increasingly prominent. In order to evaluate the properties of pipeline materials under a high-pressure hydrogen environment, this study investigates the hydrogen embrittlement sensitivity of X70 welded pipe in a 10 MPa high-pressure hydrogen environment, using slow strain rate testing (SSRT) and low-cycle fatigue (LCF) analysis. The microstructure, slow tensile and fatigue fracture morphology of base metal (BM) and weld metal (WM) were characterized and analyzed by means of ultra-depth microscope, scanning electron microscope (SEM), electron backscattering diffraction (EBSD), and transmission electron microscope (TEM).

The wall thickness of the TP2 copper tube casting billet is not uniform after a three-roll planetary rotational rolling, which affects the wall thickness uniformity of the copper tube in the subsequent process. In order to study the influence of wall thickness at different positions of copper pipe after rolling on the wall thickness of copper pipe after joint drawing, an online ultrasonic test platform was used to measure the wall thickness of copper pipe after tying, and based on the test data, a finite element model of copper pipe billet was established, and the numerical simulation of joint drawing wall thickness was conducted. Based on the results of the ultrasonic testing experiment and finite element simulation, different neural network models were used to predict the joint tensile wall thickness with the data of the ultrasonic testing experiment as input and the results of finite element simulation as output.

Pseudorabies virus (PRV) establishes persistent latent infections by effectively evading the host's antiviral innate immune response. PRV has developed sophisticated strategies to bypass immune surveillance through coevolution with its host. Currently, no effective vaccine exists to prevent or treat infections caused by emerging PRV variants, and the interactions between PRV and the host's innate immune defenses remain incompletely understood.

  • The study investigates the effectiveness of using sodium persulfate (SD) and sodium lignosulfonate surfactant in thermally washing oily sludge to improve remediation methods.
  • It evaluates the impact of various reaction conditions on the breakdown of different hydrocarbon types (saturated, aromatic, resins, and asphaltenes) in oily sludge.
  • Results showed that while SD effectively degrades these hydrocarbons, sodium hydroxide acts as a catalyst, and lignosulfonate aids in the removal process by lowering the solution's surface tension.

Reservoir heterogeneity significantly affects reservoir flooding efficiency and the formation and distribution of residual oil. As an effective method for enhancing recovery, polymer-surfactant (SP) flooding has a complex mechanism of action in inhomogeneous reservoirs. In this study, the effect of reservoir heterogeneity on the SP drive was investigated by designing core parallel flooding experiments combined with NMR and CT scanning techniques, taking conglomerate reservoirs in a Xinjiang oilfield as the research object.
