The permanent magnet synchronous motor control system is characterized by its nonlinear and strongly coupled complexity, presenting significant challenges for control performance optimization. To address these challenges, a Fuzzy adaptive fractional order [Formula: see text] control strategy based on torque observation compensation is proposed. The parameters of the fractional order [Formula: see text] controller are optimized real time using fuzzy logic reasoning, in order to enhance the speed of parameters tuning, a graphical design method of the fractional order [Formula: see text] controller parameters based on frequency domain performance indicators is proposed to obtain the initial values of the fuzzy adaptive fractional order [Formula: see text] controller parameters graphically and intuitively.

Swine farm wastewater is a major reservoir of antimicrobial resistance genes (ARGs). Anaerobic digestion (AD), widely implemented in farms, has been extensively studied for ARG removal. However, a comparative study on ARG removal efficiency across the four principal AD systems - up-flow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB), continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR), buried biogas digester (BBD), and septic tank (SPT) - is lacking.

Pancreatic cancer is characterized by severe metabolic stress due to its prominent desmoplasia and poor vascularization. Integrin subunit alpha 3 (ITGA3) is a cell surface adhesion protein involved in tumor progression. However, the role of ITGA3 in pancreatic cancer progression, especially in metabolic reprogramming, remains largely unknown.

Background: The interaction between the metastatic microenvironment and tumor cells plays an important role in metastatic tumor formation. Platelets play pivotal roles in hematogenous cancer metastasis through tumor cell-platelet interaction in blood vessels. Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a highly lethal malignancy distinguished by its notable tendency to metastasize to the liver.

While the role of flies as potential vectors for bacterial transmission is well recognized, the epidemiological features and genomic characteristics of associated antimicrobial-resistant strains remain underexplored. This study conducted a nationwide surveillance including 3689 flies and 838 isolates from sixteen human communities (HCs) and eight animal farms (AFs) across 21 provinces in China. Our findings revealed high carriage rates of carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) in flies, with 27.

Article Synopsis
  • - Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa) is a harmful bacteria that poses a global health risk due to its resistance to antibiotics, particularly affecting donkeys and leading to reproductive issues.
  • - The research analyzes P. aeruginosa strains from donkeys in Hebei Province, China, using genomic sequencing to identify genetic traits and confirm they all belong to the same sequence type (ST1058) with multidrug resistance.
  • - The study highlights the presence of a specific plasmid carrying the qnrVC1 gene, associated with resistance to quinolones, and emphasizes the importance of tracking antimicrobial resistance genes in livestock through a One Health approach.

Article Synopsis
  • Hospital sewage is a significant source of pathogens and antimicrobial resistance genes, highlighting critical health risks associated with bacterial resistance.
  • A study in Zhejiang Province, China, found that a majority of Gram-positive isolates from hospital sewage carried linezolid resistance genes, predominantly the optrA gene, with Enterococci showing a high resistance rate of 77.8%.
  • Phylogenetic analysis indicated a diverse presence of linezolid-resistant bacteria across multiple hospitals, with similar genetic structures of resistance genes found in different environments, underscoring the potential for gene transmission beyond hospitals.

Chemotherapy resistance has been a great challenge in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC) treatments. Current first-line chemotherapy regimens for PDAC include gemcitabine-based regimens such as AG regimen (albumin paclitaxel and gemcitabine), fluorouracil-based regiments such as FOLFIRINOX regimen ((5-fluorouracil5-FU), oxaliplatin, Irinotecan) and platinum-based regimens for patients with BRCA mutations. large amounts of work have been done on exploring the mechanism underlying resistance of gemcitabine-based and platinum-based regimens, while little research has been achieved on the mechanism of FOLFIRINOX regimens resistance.

The global increasing incidence of clinical infections caused by carbapenem-resistant Gram-negative pathogens requires urgent and effective treatment strategies. Antibiotic adjuvants represent a promising approach to enhance the efficacy of meropenem against carbapenem-resistant bacteria. This study shows that the anticancer agent 5-fluorouracil (5-FU, 50 µM) significantly reduced the minimum inhibitory concentration of meropenem against bla positive Escherichia coli by 32-fold through cell-based high-throughput screening.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) features substantial matrix stiffening and reprogrammed glucose metabolism, particularly the Warburg effect. However, the complex interplay between these traits and their impact on tumor advancement remains inadequately explored. Here, we integrated clinical, cellular, and bioinformatics approaches to explore the connection between matrix stiffness and the Warburg effect in PDAC, identifying CLIC1 as a key mediator.

Low-salt pickled vegetables are in line with a healthier diet, yet ensuring consistent quality of such products is challenging. In this study, low-salt tuber mustard pickles fermented with Lactiplantibacillus plantarum LPP95 in the presence of chitosan and inulin were analyzed over a 30-day period, and quality changes were evaluated. Total acid productions along with high bacterial counts (10 CFU/mL) were observed in the initial 20 days during indoor storage temperature, in which the reduced fiber aperture was found significantly lead to an increase in crispness (16.

Background: This study investigated the molecular mechanism of long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 1605 (LINC01605) in the process of tumor growth and liver metastasis of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).

Methods: LINC01605 was filtered out with specificity through TCGA datasets (related to DFS) and our RNA-sequencing data of PDAC tissue samples from Renji Hospital. The expression level and clinical relevance of LINC01605 were then verified in clinical cohorts and samples by immunohistochemical staining assay and survival analysis.
