Diagnosis and treatment are quite challenging, as the disease can present itself in many forms depending to the location and the complications that it might cause.
Case Presentation: A 22-year-old man presented to our hospital with ongoing dry cough for more than 1 month prior to admission.
Background: An accurate diagnosis for high-suspicion nodules based on the 2015 American Thyroid Association (ATA) guidelines would reduce unnecessary invasive examinations. Elastography is a useful tool for discriminating benign and malignant thyroid nodules. The aim of this study is to investigate the diagnostic efficiency of elastography for high-suspicion thyroid nodules based on the 2015 ATA guidelines in the Chinese population.

Objective: 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU)-based chemotherapy often causes several drawbacks including weight loss, diarrhea, myelosuppression, and the intestinal mucositis. This study aimed to evaluate the protective effect of Qingjie Fuzheng Granule (QFG) on 5-FU-induced intestinal mucositis in CT-26 tumor-bearing xenograft mice and investigated the possible molecular mechanism.
Methods: Tumor xenograft models of CT-26 cells were generated in BALB/c nude mice, the mice were randomly divided into 4 groups including control, QFG, 5-FU and 5-FU combined QFG groups.
Leaves and assimilative branches are crucial to the life cycle of Alhagi sparsifolia Shap. (Fabaceae), which grows in high-irradiance environments and is the main vegetation in the forelands of the Taklamakan Desert. This plant has an important role in wind protection and sand fixation at the oasis-desert transition zone.

We studied the relationship between p53 gene alteration and clinical features in 34 patients with ATL, 14 acute type, 15 chronic type, and five crisis type transformed from chronic type. Using a polymerase chain reaction/single strand conformation polymorphism (PCR/SSCP) assay, followed by nucleotide sequencing, we detected mutations of the p53 gene in six of the 14 acute type patients, two of the five crisis type, and one of the 15 chronic type patients.
