Necrotizing fasciitis (NF) is a life-threatening infection which is treated with aggressive debridement, antibiotics, intensive care and hyperbaric oxygen. We present a case where a 66-year-old woman with NF of the face and neck following an eye infection was treated with skin-sparing surgical revision. The affected subcutaneous tissue as well as necrosis around the left eye was removed, but the skin was left untouched.
