Uncontrolled human and industrial activities lead to the increase in demand for selective gas sensors for detection of poisonous gases in our environment. Conventional resistive gas sensors suffer from predetermined sensitivity and poor selectivity among gases. This paper demonstrates curcumin reduced graphene oxide-silk field effect transistor for selective and sensitive detection of ammonia in air.

This paper demonstrates a flexible nanogenerator (NG) using Silk-Zinc Oxide (ZnO) composite by exploiting the inherent piezoelectric properties of silk and ZnO. A direct precipitation method was employed to synthesize Zinc Oxide nanoparticles (NPs). Silk-ZnO composite film was then prepared by spin-coating the homogenous silk-ZnO solution.
