- The Choosing Wisely (CW) guidelines suggest that women aged 70 and older with certain types of breast cancer shouldn’t need a specific test called sentinel lymph node biopsy during surgery.
- Researchers looked at 238 women with breast cancer who followed these guidelines and had a special test called MammaPrint done.
- They found that the results from MammaPrint didn’t help in deciding if the women needed the lymph node test, and older age was more important in predicting if there were cancerous nodes.

Seeing stars: The two-dimensional patterns of the polycyclic heteroaromatic star molecules 1 on graphite vary with the side chain length. For n=12, frustrated self-assembly leads to hierarchically organized superstructures: up to 10 molecules form triangular aggregates which pack densely into hexagonal patterns with very large (15.5 nm) lattice constants.
