Background And Objective: Palliative care can offer individuals improved quality of care and life. While many individuals would benefit from palliative care, only a minority will receive it. Integrating palliative care with geriatrics can help relieve this deficit, help with basic symptom management, advanced care planning (ACP) and develop goals of care to assure that the care provided is congruent with the individual's priorities.
