Gray mold caused by is one of the most determinative factors of lily growth and has become a major threat to lily productivity. However, the nature of the lily interaction remains largely unknown. Here, comparative transcriptomic and metabolomic were used to investigate the defense responses of resistant ('Sorbonne') and susceptible ('Tresor') lily cultivars to infection at 24 hpi.

DNA transfection is often the bottleneck of research and gene therapy practices. To explore the mechanism regulating transgene expression, we investigated the role of the cGAS-STING signaling pathway, which induces type-I interferons in response to DNA. We confirmed that deletion of cGAS enhances transgene expression at the protein level by ~2- to 3-fold.

Aims: In this paper, we have reported a previously undescribed risk factor of deterioration of renal function in zoledronic acid treatment of skeletal metastasis - high serum calcium level. Based on this consideration, a modified method of treatment of hypercalcemia (HCM) with zoledronic acid is suggested in this paper.

Material And Methods: Bone scan findings of 1090 cancer patients were analyzed, of which 26 had intense renal parenchymal uptake as a result of HCM or bone metastases.
