Background: Our hospital is a designated institution for COVID-19 patients in Chengdu, China. This study aimed to analyze the clinical and chest CT features of 15 COVID-19 patients with positive reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) retest results after discharge. Patients who met the current standards of discharge could still carry the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Ginsenoside Rb1 attenuates cardiomyocyte apoptosis induced by myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury through mTOR signal pathway.

Objective: Ginsenoside Rb1 (GRb1) is known to play an effective protection on myocardial infarction, yet its therapeutic mechanism on myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury has remained obscure. Here we sought to investigate the protective mechanism of GRb1 preconditioning on myocardial I/R injury in rats.

Methods And Results: We report here that GRb1 preconditioning could improve myocardial I/R injury induced-cardiac functions including LVDP, -dp/dt min and + dp/dt max; however, the heart rate (HR) was maintained at a level comparable to the I/R group.

Objective: The main purpose of this study was to investigate the diagnostic value of dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) in differentiating osteomyelitis from acute neuropathic arthropathy in the diabetic foot.

Materials And Methods: This prospective study was carried out on 30 diabetic foot patients, with a mean age of 51 years. The patients all underwent clinical examinations, laboratory examinations and DCE-MRI.

An inverse relationship between serum bilirubin and CRP has been observed in various diseases.
