To improve the utilization rates of soda residue (SR) and fly ash (FA), reduce environmental pollution, and enhance the mechanical properties of marine clay (MC), this study proposes mixing SR, FA, and MC with cement and /or lime to prepare soda residue-fly ash stabilized soil (SRFSS). Using an orthogonal design for the proportions, the study analyzes the compaction performance, unconfined compressive strength (UCS), and shear strength of SRFSS. The influence of various factors on the mechanical properties of SRFSS was investigated through range and variance analyses.

Methods: Parental Educational Anxiety Measurement Questionnaire was used to measure the level of PEA. Pearson correlation coefficient analysis was used to examine the correlation between the level of PAE and the demographic variables.
Coal-burning fluorosis prevails in southwest China and other provinces. Although clay used as binder of briquettes was proven to cause coal-burning fluorosis, its enrichment processes remain unknown. The soils and rocks on typical geological units were sampled and simulation experiments were performed to detect the forming process of high-fluoride clay.

Recent advancements in nucleic acid-based therapies-including mRNA, miRNA, siRNA, and DNA treatments have expanded the scope of gene therapy to include strategies that modulate protein expression and deliver functional genetic material without altering the genetic sequence itself. This review focuses on the innovative use of plant-derived nanovesicles (PDNVs) as a promising delivery system for these nucleic acids.

The study introduces a robust analytical method based on UPLC-MS/MS for quantifying thiol amino acids, including cysteine (Cys), cysteinylglycine (CG), homocysteine (Hcy), and glutathione (GSH), in their total and total free forms within human plasma. An optimized blank matrix was employed for accurate quantification of endogenous compounds. The method exhibited excellent linearity, precision, accuracy, recovery, and stability, making it highly suitable for plasma analysis.

The IP/pull-down assay and mass spectrometry were employed to screen and identify the host proteins interacting with Nsp15. The interaction between the host protein and Nsp15 was studied by co-immunoprecipitation and laser scanning confocal microscopy.

Acquiring more biological and phylogenetic information on understudied taxa constitutes a pivotal aspect of conservation biology. Consequently, a comprehensive examination was conducted on Koreosolenaia, Parvasolenaia, and Sinosolenaia from China encompassing morphology, anatomy, distribution, and molecular systematics to provide theoretical support for future species endangerment assessments and biodiversity conservation.

While the precise impact of anthropogenic forcing remains uncertain, natural fluctuations have been shown to be important for this variability. Our study employs a series of coupled model experiments, revealing that with constant anthropogenic forcing, the primary driver of interannual sea ice variability lies in deep convection within the Southern Ocean, although it is model dependent.

Previous research has demonstrated the high comparability of abdominal VNC images with TNC images, suggesting their potential as substitutes. Given the thyroid's significant iodine content, this study evaluated the efficacy of VNC images for removing both intrinsic and extrinsic iodine through an analysis of computed tomography (CT) attenuation and iodine density in TNC and enhanced VNC thyroid images.

Methods: A total of 1000 outpatients from Shenzhen Third People's Hospital were randomly selected in May 2023 and November 2023 to provide feedback before and after implementing the smart outpatient service system consisting of the Health Butler app and Intelligent Accompaniment. The changes in the patient's awareness of the medical treatment process, average waiting time, satisfaction with the experience of seeking medical treatment, and trust in medical services offered based on patient feedback were compared pre- and post-implementation.
Cervical cancer is one of the most common gynecologic malignancies worldwide. 5-Fluorouracil (5-Fu) is a widely used anticancer drug for various cancers, but the development of 5-Fu resistance poses a challenge in treating cervical cancer patients. This study examined the roles and molecular mechanisms of LncRNA-FGD5-AS1 in 5-Fu resistant cervical cancer cells through in vitro and in vivo experiments.
