Background: Cardiotoxicity from chemotherapy is a serious risk to the quality of survival of breast cancer survivors (BCS), and aerobic combined with resistance exercise (CE) has the potential to combat this cardiac damage. However, there is a lack of high-quality studies to assess the specific effects of CE. This study aimed to investigate the effects of CE on cardiopulmonary function (CRF) and cardiometabolic health in BCS.

Microbiota and functional analyses of nitrogen-fixing bacteria in root-knot nematode parasitism of plants.

Background: Root-knot nematodes (RKN) are among the most important root-damaging plant-parasitic nematodes, causing severe crop losses worldwide. The plant rhizosphere and root endosphere contain rich and diverse bacterial communities. However, little is known about how RKN and root bacteria interact to impact parasitism and plant health.

Obstructive sleep apnea and incidence of malignant tumors: a meta-analysis.

Objectives: This paper assessed the connection between obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and the incidence of malignant tumors.

Methods: PubMed, Cochrane, Scopus, Health Source Nursing Academic Edition, EMBASE, and Web of Sciences were searched until the date of July 25, 2020. The analysis included an assessment of the overall incidence of OSA malignancies, the incidence of OSA malignancies by age and gender, and the incidence of different types of malignancies in patients with OSA.

Excretion of manure-borne estrogens and androgens and their potential risk estimation in the Yangtze River Basin.

The Yangtze River is the longest river in China, and the river basin spans one fifth of the area of the whole country. Based on statistical data, the excretion of manure-borne steroid hormones, including steroid estrogens (SEs) and steroid androgens (SAs), in 10 provinces of China within the region has been estimated. The potential environmental and ecological risk of manure-borne steroid estrogens to the surface water in this region was also assessed.
