The rapid advancement of machine learning has revolutionized quite a few science fields, leading to a surge in the development of highly efficient and accurate materials discovery methods. Recently, predictions of multiple related properties have received attention, with a particular emphasis on spectral properties, where the electronic density of states (DOS) stands out as the fundamental data with enormous potential to advance our understanding of crystalline materials. Leveraging the power of the Transformer framework, we introduce an Atomic Positional Embedding-Based Transformer (APET), which surpasses existing state-of-the-art models for predicting DOS.

To gain insights into the epidemiological characteristics and genetic diversity of NoV among children in Hubei, 1216 stool samples from children (≤ 5 years) obtained under AGE surveillance from January 2017 to December 2019 were analyzed. The results showed that NoV was responsible for 14.

The complete mitogenome sequence of the flea, (Siphonaptera: Ceratophyllidae), was sequenced. The 18,081 bp long genome has the standard metazoan complement of 37 genes. These genes contain 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, two ribosomal RNA genes, and one control region.

The effects of MgH, MgNiH, and MgCuH on the thermal decomposition, burning rate, and explosive heat of ammonium perchlorate-based composite solid propellant were subsequently studied. Results indicated that MgH, MgNiH, and MgCuH can decrease the thermal decomposition peak temperature and increase the total released heat of decomposition.

(Diptera: Muscidae), showed excellent hepatoprotective activity as well as the potential for clinical application in therapy for liver diseases. In this study, antiviral, immunomodulatory, and free radical scavenging activities of PEF were evaluated.

Controversial results regarding the association of eNOS gene variable number of tandem repeats (VNTR) polymorphism with IS have been reported by conventional PCR-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis methods. We aimed to identify any common association of eNOS gene VNTR polymorphism with IS in Chinese Han population by capillary electrophoresis (CE).
