Fusarium head blight (FHB), caused by , severely impacts global wheat production, reducing both the yield and quality. In China, fludioxonil, a phenylpyrrole fungicide, is used for managing FHB. This study assessed fludioxonil activity against 120 strains collected from Hubei, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu in 2024, revealing an average EC value of 0.

Protein-DNA interactions play critical roles in various biological processes and are essential for drug discovery. However, traditional experimental methods are labor-intensive and unable to keep pace with the increasing volume of protein sequences, leading to a substantial number of proteins lacking DNA-binding annotations. Therefore, developing an efficient computational method to identify protein-DNA binding sites is crucial.

Allergy is a prevalent phenomenon, involving allergens such as nuts and milk. Avoiding exposure to allergens is the most effective preventive measure against allergic reactions. However, current homology-based methods for identifying allergenic proteins encounter challenges when dealing with non-homologous data.

Cytochrome oxidase (Cox) is a crucial terminal oxidase in the electron transport chain. In this study, we generated 14 Cox gene deletion or overexpression mutants in . Fungicide sensitivity tests revealed that 11 Cox gene deletion mutants displayed resistance to pyraclostrobin, while 10 overexpression mutants showed hypersensitivity.

Wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) are considered important sources of antibiotics and metabolites in aquatic environments and pose a serious threat to the safety of aquatic organisms. In this study, we investigated the seasonal occurrence, removal, emission, and environmental risk assessment (ERA) of 32 antibiotics and metabolites at four WWTPs located in Wuhu, China. The main findings of this study are as follows: Ofloxacin concentrations dominated all WWTPs, and large quantities of sulfachinoxalin were only detected in WWTP 2 treating mixed sewage.
