Article Synopsis
  • - Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is being investigated for its potential to help with liver issues related to chronic hepatitis B, but its effectiveness on HBsAg seroclearance is still not well understood.
  • - In a study, mice were treated with specific TCM granules to see their impact on M1 macrophage polarization and HBsAg levels, and a special TCM formula was developed based on the most effective granules.
  • - The findings indicated that the TCM formula improved HBsAg seroclearance, likely by promoting M1 macrophage activity and altering gut microbiota, particularly increasing the presence of Alloprevotella.
