Purpose: Post-traumatic osteoarthritis (PTOA) is a prevalent and serious complication after ankle fracture surgery, and due to its delayed nature and nonspecific symptoms, identifying the risk factors is highly cost-effective. The aim of this study is to investigate the incidence and risk factors associated with PTOA following ankle fracture surgery.

Methods: This study retrospectively analyzed patients who presented with ankle fractures and underwent open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) at a university-affiliated tertiary care facility, between January 2018 and October 2021.

Background: The TP53 tumor suppressor gene is one of the most mutated genes in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) and plays a vital role in regulating the occurrence and progression of cancer. We aimed to elucidate the association between TP53 mutations, response to immunotherapies and the prognosis of LUAD.

Methods: Genomic, transcriptomic, and clinical data of LUAD were downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) dataset.

PYCR1 is over-expressed in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and its high expression accelerates the progression of NSCLC. However, the underlying mechanisms of PYCR1 in NSCLC progression remain poorly understood. Our study determined the mechanisms of PYCR1 in promotion of the occurrence and development of NSCLC in vitro and in vivo.
