The chemical components and availability of Paris rugosa were investigated for the first time, using a UPLC-MS/MS-based molecular networking strategy and phytochemical research. Ultimately, eleven undescribed steroidal saponins, parisrugosides A-K, and ten known analogs were identified. Their structures were confirmed using comprehensive spectroscopic data and chemical methods.

It has been known that the ventral hippocampus (vHPC) and the cannabinoid type 1 receptors (CB1R) are involved in regulating anxiety and pain. Therefore, in this study, we determined whether EA reduces visceral pain and IBD-induced anxiety CB1R in the vHPC.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the efficacy and safety of PMB in the treatment of MDR-GNB in liver transplant recipients and to determine the risk factors affecting clinical cure and 30-day all-cause mortality.
Methods: Data of LTRs receiving PMB from January 2016 to February 2020 were collected.

Phytochemical reinvestigation on the whole plants of Ypsilandra thibetica obtained four new spirostanol glycosides, named ypsilandrosides U-X (1-4), and one new cholestanol glycoside, named ypsilandroside Y (5). Their structures have been established by extensive spectroscopic data and chemical methods. Among them, compound 4 is a rare spirostanol glycoside which possesses a novel 5(6 → 7) abeo-steroidal aglycone, while compound 1 is a first spirostanol bisdesmoside attached to C-3 and C-12, respectively, isolated from the genus Ypsilandra.

Electroacupuncture (EA) is effective in alleviating visceral pain and colonic inflammation associated with IBD. Cannabinoid CB2 receptor agonists also reduce colonic inflammation in a mouse model of IBD.

Sepsis-induced myocardial dysfunction (SIMD) is ubiquitous in septic shock patients and is associated with high morbidity and mortality rates. Heat shock protein 22 (Hsp22), which belongs to the small HSP family of proteins, is involved in several biological functions. However, the function of Hsp22 in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced myocardial injury is not yet established.

Although it is not life-threatening, the accompanying rapid and irregular ventricular rate can lead to hemodynamic deterioration and obvious symptoms, especially the risk of cerebrovascular embolism. Our study aimed to identify novel and promising genes that could explain the underlying mechanism of AF development.

The objectification of "" of acupuncture is a hot topic in acupuncture research at present, and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) is one of the most frequently-used techniques for revealing its brain responses. We searched literature about "" from PubMed in recent 10 years by using key words """acupuncture sensation""needling sensation" and fMRI, trying to expound the central mechanism of "" and to put forward our understandings. Acupuncture "" evoked deactivation of the limbic-paralimbic-neocortical network (LPNN)/ default mode network (DMN), including medial prefrontal cortex (frontal pole, anterior cingulate), temporal lobe (amygdala, hippocampus, parahippocampus gyrus, temporal pole), and apparent activation of brain regions as the somatosensory cortex, thalamic-somatosensory area-insular lobe, orbitofrontal cortex, etc.
