Background And Objectives: Whether acupuncture is effective for chronic tension-type headache (CTTH) is inconclusive. We aimed to examine the effectiveness of acupuncture with a follow-up period of 32 weeks.

Methods: We conducted a randomized controlled trial, and 218 participants who were diagnosed with CTTH were recruited from June 2017 to September 2020.

[Postoperative ileus after laparotomy for gastrointestinal cancer treated with electroacupuncture: a randomized controlled trial].

Objective: To observe the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) on postoperative ileus after laparotomy for gastrointestinal cancer.

Methods: A total of 90 patients with postoperative ileus after laparotomy for gastrointestinal cancer were randomized into an EA group and a conventional treatment group, 45 cases in each one. In the conventional treatment group, the postoperative fast track surgical regimen was accepted.

Background: Pyogenic arthritis, pyoderma gangrenosum, and acne (PAPA) syndrome is a rare autosomal dominant genetic disease characterized by severe autoimmune inflammation, caused by mutations in the gene. Due to PAPA heterogeneous clinical manifestation, misdiagnosis or delayed diagnoses are difficult to avoid. With the use of whole-exome sequencing, we identified a missense mutation in the gene in a Chinese family.
