Background: Thyroid nodules classified within the Thyroid Imaging Reporting and Data Systems (TI-RADS) category 3-5 are typically regarded as having varying degrees of malignancy risk, with the risk increasing from TI-RADS 3 to TI-RADS 5. While some of these nodules may undergo fine-needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy to assess their nature, this procedure carries a risk of false negatives and inherent complications. To avoid the need for unnecessary biopsy examination, we explored a method for distinguishing the benign and malignant characteristics of thyroid TI-RADS 3-5 nodules based on deep-learning ultrasound images combined with computed tomography (CT).

However, studies suggest that other neurotransmitters, especially histamine, may also play a role in the development of PD.
Recent Findings: Numerous studies show that histamine levels in the basal ganglia significantly change in PD pathology, correlating with motor symptoms observed in animal models of PD.
The prefrontal cortex regulates emotions and is influenced by serotonin. Rodents lacking the serotonin transporter (5-HTT) show increased anxiety and changes in excitatory and inhibitory cell markers in the prefrontal cortex. However, these observations are constrained by limitations in brain representation and cell segmentation, as standard immunohistochemistry is inadequate to consider volume variations in regions of interest.

However, only a few have paid attention to the effectiveness of ESDM on emotional dysregulation and behavior problems in children with ASD. This study aimed to explore the effect of the ESDM on addressing emotional dysregulation and behavior problems in children with ASD in China, as well as its correlation with core symptoms of ASD.

Through a comprehensive screening and validation process involving multiple models, ginsenoside Rg3 (Rg3) as a compound capable of enhancing cardiolipin levels is identified. This augmentation in cardiolipin levels fosters mitochondrial homeostasis by bolstering mitochondrial unfolded protein response, promoting mitophagy, and enhancing mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation.

Adopting a combination of netography and qualitative research methodology, this study aims to contribute to the scientific knowledge of destination image development in Thailand by analysing online travelogues to evaluate how Chinese tourists interpret the idea of destination image. To achieve this goal, 146,641 words of Chinese internet comments containing the keyword "Thailand" from four major media sources and Chinese bloggers were gathered and analysed using netography methodology.

This study aimed to explore the relationship between sleep and internalizing problems in children with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and the probable mediating role of externalizing problems.
Methods: A total of 203 primary school children diagnosed with ADHD for the first time were recruited for this study.

Congenital heart disease (CHD) is the most frequent birth defect and a leading cause of infant mortality, emphasizing the crucial need for its early diagnosis. Ultrasound is the primary imaging modality for prenatal CHD screening. As a complement to the four-chamber view, the three-vessel view (3VV) plays a vital role in detecting anomalies in the great vessels.

These outcomes can be caused both by offspring's own and maternal serotonergic genotype. We aimed to dissociate the contribution of the own genotype from the influences of mother genotype.

A growing body of evidence suggest that exposure to environmental toxins, including pesticides, solvents and heavy metals (collectively called toxins), is at least in part responsible for this rapid growth.

Materials And Methods: PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library were searched for English-language studies on the MRI features of tuberculous and pyogenic spondylitis published between January 2010 and February 2023. Risk for bias and concerns regarding applicability were assessed using the Quality Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy Studies-2 tool.
Diastasis recti abdominis (DRA) is a common condition in women. Measuring the distance between separated rectus abdominis (RA) in ultrasound images is a reliable method for the diagnosis of this disease. In clinical practice, the RA distance in multiple ultrasound images of a patient is measured by experienced sonographers, which is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and highly dependent on experience of operators.

Recently, however, we found an 88% reduction in corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH)-positive neurons in the paraventricular nucleus (PVN). We assessed the remaining CRH neurons in NT1 to determine whether they co-express vasopressin (AVP) to reflect upregulation.

We conducted a cross-sectional study to investigate and compare the screen time and outdoor activity time of children with typically development (TD) and those with developmental disorders during and before the emergence of COVID-19, and identified the risk factors related to screen time during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods: A total of 496 children were surveyed via online questionnaires.
Optical coherence tomography (OCT) has been used to investigate heart development because of its capability to image both structure and function of beating embryonic hearts. Cardiac structure segmentation is a prerequisite for the quantification of embryonic heart motion and function using OCT. Since manual segmentation is time-consuming and labor-intensive, an automatic method is needed to facilitate high-throughput studies.

Narcolepsy with cataplexy is a sleep disorder caused by deficiency in the hypothalamic neuropeptide hypocretin/orexin (HCRT), unanimously believed to result from autoimmune destruction of hypocretin-producing neurons. HCRT deficiency can also occur in secondary forms of narcolepsy and be only temporary, suggesting it can occur without irreversible neuronal loss. The recent discovery that narcolepsy patients also show loss of hypothalamic (corticotropin-releasing hormone) CRH-producing neurons suggests that other mechanisms than cell-specific autoimmune attack, are involved.

Furthermore, we examined their links to core symptoms and neurodevelopment, as well as gastrointestinal (GI) comorbidities and sleep disorders.
Methods: This study included 181 children with autism and 205 typically developing (TD) children.
Objective: To analyze the risk factors for developmental quotients (DQs) of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and to better understand the effects of screen time on neurodevelopment in children with ASD.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the data of 382 children with ASD, including demographic profiles; socioeconomic status; score on the Chinese parent-child interaction scale (CPCIS); screen time questionnaire; ASD symptom rating scales, including the Autism Behavior Checklist (ABC), Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS), and Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule Second Edition (ADOS-2); and DQs using Griffiths Development Scales-Chinese Edition. Univariate analysis was carried out to analyze the factors related to the DQs of children with ASD, and then the linear regression model was used to identify the independent influencing factors of the DQs of children with ASD.
Measuring regional differences in agricultural green total factor productivity (AGTFP) provides a basis for policy guidance on agricultural green development in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region. By constructing a two-period Malmquist-Luenberger index under the carbon emission constraint, we measure the AGTFP of cities in the YRD region from 2001 to 2019. Furthermore, adopting the Moran index method and the hot spot analysis method, this paper analyzes the global spatial correlation and local spatial correlation of AGTFP in this region.

Heterozygous variant in ZNF148 gene causes an intellectual disability syndrome characterized by global developmental delay, absence, or hypoplasia of corpus callosum, wide intracerebral ventricles, and dysmorphic facial features, while its associations with ASD and ADHD have not been reported. We report a new patient with intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
