We present a case of rosacea recurrence in a 37-year-old woman associated with the intake of compound vitamin tablets during the preconception period, with a Naranjo score of 7. These tablets, commonly used for nutritional supplementation to prevent anemia, contain a variety of vitamins, minerals, and trace elements. Despite their widespread use, reports of such supplements causing rosacea recurrence are rare.

However, the in-depth studies on the antidepressant potential of EB and its underlying mechanisms are still lacking.

Bacopaside I (BSI), the main active compound of the herbal medicine Bacopa monnieri with anti-RA effects, inhibits tumor cell growth by blocking AQP1, but its potential use in RA is unclear.
Purpose: To address BSI's anti-RA effects and elucidate its underlying mechanisms.
Background: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an inflammatory disease of the joints mediated by immune cells. As an immune-related mode of cell death, pyroptosis has yet to be fully understood in RA. This research identified novel pyroptosis-related markers in RA and confirmed its functional significance in RA.

Eupalinolide B (EB), a sesquiterpene lactone of Eupatorium lindleyanum DC., has anti-inflammatory effects and anti-proliferative activity in tumor cells.

Elevated synovial aquaporin 1 (AQP1) affects RA FLS behaviors, but its relationship with FLS autophagy is unclear. We aim to clarify that silencing AQP1 inhibits autophagy to exert its anti-RA effects.

Raw data are downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus database and processed by the limma package in R software to identify Differentially Expressed Genes (DEGs). Gene ontology functional analysis and Kyoto Gene Encyclopedia and Genome Pathway analysis are performed to determine the biological functions and pathways of DEGs.

Objective: To analyze the factors affecting overall survival (OS) of adult patients with core-binding factor acute myeloid leukemia (CBF-AML) and establish a prediction model.
Methods: A total of 216 newly diagnosed patients with CBF-AML in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from May 2015 to July 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. The 216 CBF-AML patients were divided into the training and the validation cohort at 7∶3 ratio.
Bioaugmentation techniques still show drawbacks in the cleanup of total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPHs) from petroleum-contaminated site soil. Herein, this study explored high-performance immobilized bacterial pellets (IBPs) embed Microbacterium oxydans with a high degrading capacity, and developed a controlled-release oxygen composite (CROC) that allows the efficient, long-term release of oxygen. Tests with four different microcosm incubations were performed to assess the effects of IBPs and CROC on the removal of TPHs from petroleum-contaminated site soil.

Idiopathic bronchiectasis and post-tuberculous bronchiectasis are two important etiologies in China, but the differences in clinical features and risk factors of recurrent hemoptysis have not been elucidated.
Methods: Patients hospitalized for idiopathic bronchiectasis or post-tuberculosis bronchiectasis were included.
Photothermal therapy is favored by cancer researchers due to its advantages such as controllable initiation, direct killing and immune promotion. However, the low enrichment efficiency of photosensitizer in tumor site and the limited effect of single use limits the further development of photothermal therapy. Herein, a photo-responsive multifunctional nanosystem was designed for cancer therapy, in which myeloid-derived suppressor cell (MDSC) membrane vesicle encapsulated decitabine-loaded black phosphorous (BP) nanosheets (BP@ Decitabine @MDSCs, named BDM).

Methods: A total of 183 patients with pathologically confirmed breast cancer were included. Contrast enhancement patterns and quantitative parameters were compared in different groups.
The Purpose of the present study was to quantify the responses of ten cell lines (HeLa, HepG2, HEK293, MDA-MB-231, A498, A549, A357, 3 T3, BALB-C3 T3, and NIH-3 T3) to spent fluid catalytic cracking catalysts (SFCCCs) from different petroleum refineries, and relate these responses to metal concentrations of SFCCC leachates (SFCCCLs). Cytotoxicity of SFCCCs were significantly different depending on cell lines. A357 and 3 T3 cell were the most sensitive, and A498 and HeLa cells were the least sensitive.

Although probiotics, especially , exerted the transformation effect, the endogenous enzymes proved to be more effective in transforming the components of Cassiae Semen. After biotransformation by endogenous enzymes for 12 h, the levels of six anthraquinones in Cassiae Semen increased by at least 2.

With the increasing popularity of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and the rise of online teaching during the pandemic, teachers have become a group prone to developing problematic smartphone use (PSU). Psychological need thwarting (PNT) has been shown to be closely related to PSU, psychological distress, and perceived administrative support.

However, the relationship with balance function scores remains insufficiently explored. Therefore, this study aims to explore the alterations in the microstructural properties of brain white matter and the topological characteristics of the structural brain network in postischemic stroke patients and their potential correlations with balance function.

Background: In recognizing the need for a reliable and valid instrument to assess psychological distress among children and adolescents, the present study translated the newly developed Depression Anxiety Stress Scale for Youth (DASS-Y) into Chinese, while also comparing its psychometric properties with those of the well-established DASS-21 within a primary and middle school demographic.
Methods: Utilizing a combination of convenience sampling and purposive sampling, a cohort comprising 1,507 primary and 1,131 middle school students was recruited. Rasch analysis, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and structural equation modeling (SEM) were used in the data analysis.
