Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are an extraordinarily versatile class of porous materials renowned for their intricate three-dimensional skeletal architectures and exceptional chemical properties. These extraordinary attributes have pushed MOFs into the vanguard of diverse disciplines such as microporous conduction, catalysis, separation, biomedical engineering, and electrochemical sensing. The focus of this review is to offer a comprehensive summary of recent advancements in designing MOF-based electrochemical sensors for detecting organic small molecules.

Over the past few decades, the global reliance on fossil fuels and the exponential growth of human population have escalated global energy consumption and environmental issues. To tackle these dual challenges, metal catalysts, in particular precious metal ones, have emerged as pivotal players in the fields of environment and energy. Among the numerous metal-free and organic catalyst materials, CN-based materials have a major advantage over their carbon nitride (CN) counterparts owing to the abundant availability of raw materials, non-toxicity, non-hazardous nature, and exceptional performance.

Background: The safety of mastectomy (MT) with immediate reconstruction (IR) in breast cancer patients who have completed neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) is not apparent. This meta-analysis aims to systematically evaluate the differences in surgical complications and postoperative survival rates between MT with IR (MT+IR) and MT alone in post-NAC breast cancer patients.

Methods: The PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, WanFang Data, and CNKI databases were systematically searched, and cohort studies of post-NAC breast cancer patients with MT+IR or MT surgery were collected from databases inception to May 25, 2023.

Background: Three-dimensional visualization reconstruction, the 3-D visualization model reconstructed by software using 2-D CT images, has been widely applied in medicine; but it has rarely been applied in pancreaticoduodenectomy. Although the hepatic artery is very important for the liver, it has to be removed when tumor invades it. Therefore, portal vein arterialization has been used in clinic as a remedial measure, but there still is professional debate on portal vein arterialization.

Corilagin is a natural plant polyphenol tannic acid with antitumor, anti-inflammatory, and anti-oxidative properties. However, the mechanisms of its actions are largely unknown. Our group reported that corilagin could induce cell inhibition in human breast cancer cell line MCF-7 and human liver hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines HepG2.
