We engaged in a content analysis of 10 years of scholarship about students of color, students with disabilities, and queer and/or trans students and sexual violence (SV). Our findings indicate that most of the scholarship centering students with minoritized identities focuses on prevalence and risk factors associated with SV and lacks theoretical frameworks relevant to the populations being studied. Employing epistemic injustice as a framework, we argue the implications of excluding students with minoritized identities in the scholarship about SV results in ineffective research and practice, which ultimately results in continued high rates of SV for all students.

The purpose of this study was to describe symptoms and daily experiences reported by elementary school-age children receiving treatment for cancer using the newly developed Color Me Healthy app.
Design And Methods: Participants in this descriptive study were children 6-12 years of age, who were receiving cancer treatment at a free-standing children's hospital in the Intermountain West of the United States.
Food safety monitoring is highly important due to the generation of unhealthy components within many food products during harvesting, processing, storage, transportation and cooking. Current technologies for food safety analysis often require sample extraction and the modification of the complex chemical and morphological structures of foods, and are either time consuming, have insufficient component resolution or require costly and complex instrumentation. In addition to the detection of unhealthy chemical toxins and microbes, food safety needs further developments in (a) monitoring the optimal nutritional compositions in many different food categories and (b) minimizing the potential chemical changes of food components into unhealthy products at different stages from food production until digestion.

Purpose: Barriers to education in open and laparoscopic hernia repair technique include a steep learning curve and reduced theatre time for junior surgical trainees. This is particularly evident during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Simulation models may provide further opportunities for training in hernia repair outside of the traditional surgical apprenticeship model.

Background: Dried blood spot (DBS) is an attractive matrix alternative to plasma for the measurement of antiepileptic drug concentrations with the possibility of self-sampling at home. The aim of this study was to evaluate whether DBS concentrations from a children population could be used as an alternative to plasma concentrations in a clinical routine laboratory.
Methods: Children with epilepsy using carbamazepine (CBZ), lamotrigine (LTG), levetiracetam (LEV), or valproic acid (VPA) had capillary blood collected for routine plasma analysis.
