The treatment of splenic marginal zone lymphoma is debated: splenectomy (the old standard-of-care) is better than chemotherapy but maybe not better than rituximab-containing treatment. We examined all 358 patients diagnosed with splenic marginal zone lymphoma in Sweden 2000-2020. The median overall survival was 11.

This document provides evidence-based guidelines for imaging breast cancer before, during, and after initiation of neoadjuvant chemotherapy. The American College of Radiology Appropriateness Criteria are evidence-based guidelines for specific clinical conditions that are reviewed annually by a multidisciplinary expert panel.

Our purpose was to determine whether prenatal ultrasound can be used to diagnose nonsyndromic craniosynostosis.

The aim of this long-term follow-up was to investigate whether clinical benefits were maintained and new safety signals appeared.

This first-in-human dose-escalation phase I study evaluated BAY 1862864 in patients with CD22-positive relapsed/refractory B cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (R/R-NHL). BAY 1862864 intravenous injections were administered at the starting Th radioactivity dose of 1.

Design: We retrospectively analyzed patients diagnosed with torticollis and age-matched volunteers who underwent 3D photogrammetry of their faces. We calculated the root mean square deviation (RMSD) between native and reflected facial images, as a measure of asymmetry.

Thorium-227 (Th) is a long-lived (T = 18.7 d) α-emitter that has emerged as candidate for radioimmunotherapy. Imaging of patients treated with thorium-227 conjugates is challenging due to the low activity administered and to photon emissions with low yields.

All diagnostic mammograms performed for palpable symptoms in women who had been assigned a breast density of "almost entirely fatty" over an 8-year period (2009-2017) at an academic breast center were retrospectively identified. Each symptomatic breast was considered a separate case and analyses were performed at the case level.

With increasing reports of breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL), findings such as unilateral breast swelling, capsular thickening, and peri-implant fluid raise concern. Synovial metaplasia is a benign histologic finding commonly associated with implant capsules and can be an unusual cause of such symptoms.

We analyzed the spasticity development with age in the gastrosoleus muscle in children with CP. Children and methods - This is a longitudinal cohort study of 4,162 children (57% boys) with CP born in 1990-2015, monitored using standardized follow-up examinations in the Swedish surveillance program for CP.

Three-dimensional photogrammetry allows for rapid, reproducible, and quantitative facial measurements. With this tool, the authors investigated the relationship between age and facial symmetry.

Observations: Theoretically, the high-energy emission of short-range alpha particles causes complex double-stranded DNA breaks, eliciting cell death. No known resistance mechanism to alpha particles has been reported or scientifically established.
Objective: To evaluate 3-dimensional (3-D) photogrammetry as a tool for assessing the postoperative head shape of patients who had undergone cranial vault remodeling for metopic synostosis.
Design: We prospectively analyzed images of patients with metopic craniosynostosis who had undergone anterior cranial vault remodeling and age-matched controls. To ensure standardized facial orientation, each 3-D image was positioned to "best fit" the preoperative face by aligning 6 soft tissue landmarks.
Large scale landfarming experiments, using an extensive range of treatments, were conducted in the Niger-Delta, Nigeria to study the degradation of oil in contaminated soils. In this work the effect of nutrient addition, biosurfactant, Eisenia fetida (earthworm) enzyme extract, bulking and sorption agents and soil neutralization were tested. It was found that these treatments were successful in removing up to 53% of the total petroleum hydrocarbon in the soil within 16 weeks.

Design: We captured three-dimensional images of patients with unilateral complete cleft lip/palate who underwent nasolabial repair by rotation-advancement of the lip and primary tip rhinoplasty, either with or without an internal resorbable splint, and normal control subjects. We assessed nasal symmetry by identifying the plane of maximum symmetry and the root-mean-square deviation between native and reflected surfaces.
Objective And Methods: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of season of diagnosis on the outcome of patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and Hodgkin lymphoma (HL). In this study, we included curatively treated DLBCL (n = 5875) and HL (n = 1693) patients, diagnosed between 2000 and 2011, based on data from the Swedish Lymphoma Register.
Results: Overall survival was significantly better for patients diagnosed with DLBCL during the summer months, but not for patients diagnosed with HL.
Protein kinases play a crucial role in cell signaling and are important drug targets in several therapeutic areas. The KLIFS database contains detailed structural kinase-ligand interaction information derived from all (>2900) structures of catalytic domains of human and mouse protein kinases deposited in the Protein Data Bank in order to provide insights into the structural determinants of kinase-ligand binding and selectivity. The kinase structures have been processed in a consistent manner by systematically analyzing the structural features and molecular interaction fingerprints (IFPs) of a predefined set of 85 binding site residues with bound ligands.

Case Presentation: We report a case of a 57 year old female with post-polycythemic myelofibrosis who was treated with Ruxolitinib.
Patients with advanced CD20 + indolent lymphoma, requiring therapy, were randomized to rituximab (four weekly infusions of 375 mg/m(2)) or to rituximab combined with 5 weeks of interferon-α2a (IFN-α2a) (3-4.5 MIU daily) as priming. Responding patients were eligible for a second cycle with the same allocated treatment.
