- The study aimed to compare body fat percentage (%BF) measurements from air displacement plethysmography (ADP) and leg-to-leg bioelectrical impedance analysis (LBIA) against hydrostatic weighing (HW) in NCAA Division III wrestlers.
- Results showed that LBIA significantly underestimated %BF compared to HW and skinfold methods, while ADP and skinfold measurements were more aligned with HW data.
- The findings suggest that ADP and skinfold methods are reliable for assessing %BF in wrestlers, but LBIA is not a valid method for this population.
