We treated the burst spinal fracture with posterior subtotal corpectomy and reconstruction. In some cases, the endplate and the adjacent disc can be preserved during the operation. The adjacent disc retained its mobility after the removal of the posterior pedicle screws.

The denitrification process was completed in coal-fired power plants, resulting in the fly ash containing NHHSO. When this kind of fly ash with ammonia was applied to cement and concrete, there could be phenomena such as a retarded setting time, decreased compressive strength, and volume expansion. This paper mainly investigated the influence of fly ash containing NHHSO on the properties of fly ash cement paste, and pastes with NaHSO were set as the control samples.

Hyperglycemia-caused vascular dysfunction and serious wound bacterial infection are the two main causes of unhealed diabetic foot ulcers. Therefore, it would be of great benefit to rescue stalled healing in diabetic wound if the blood glucose concentration can be efficiently decreased while controlling the bacterial infection in diabetic wound.

Objective: To observe the effect of Guben Zenggu Decoction on the expressions of calmodulin () and calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase Ⅱ ( Ⅱ) mRNA in the hypothalamus, pituitary, spleen, adrenal gland and femur in ovariectomized rats. To explore the mechanism of Guben Zenggu Decoction regulating and controlling osteoporosis through neuro-endocrine-immune (NEI) network.
Methods: The osteoporosis model was established by ovariectomy and randomly divided into model control group, Estradiol valerate group, Guben Zenggu Decoction high, medium and low concentration group.
A monolithic column with high affinity to fluorous compounds was prepared using a polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) reagent as the cross-linker and pentadecafluorooctyl methacrylate (PDFOMA) as the functionality monomer. The pore properties and permeability could be tuned by the composition of the polymerization mixture. The characterization and evaluation results revealed that the obtained POSS-PDFOMA hybrid monolith owned the merits of POSS and PDFOMA with good mechanical stability, no residual silanol and high affinity to fluorous compounds.

The organic-inorganic hybrid fluorous monolithic capillary column was synthesized by a "one-pot" approach via the polycondensation of γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxy-silane, then in situ copolymerization of 1H,1H,7H-dodecafluoroheptyl methacrylate and vinyl group on the precondensed siloxanes. The obtained monolithic columns were systematically characterized.
