Objective: To describe the daily lives of women living with fibromyalgia through the implementation of an interdisciplinary group intervention and verify its benefits to the participants' health.

Method: This descriptive, exploratory, qualitative study was conducted with 12 women who participanted in an interdisciplinary health education group at the State University of Rio de Janeiro. Data were collected in 2016 through semi-structured interviews, which were organized and analyzed according to Bardin's content analysis.

Unlabelled: The study aimed to identify the major public policy on HIV/AIDS in Brazilian society, since 1980; and to reflect on their impact on the assistance for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Descriptors: public health policies, Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome and integral health care, we obtained a sample of 23 articles in Medline and Lilacs data bases. After analysis, there were two moments: first, the emergence of public policies in response to the AIDS epidemic, and second, to improve care for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Objective: To identify the needs of nursing guidance for the self-care of the clients on hemodialysis.

Method: Descriptive-exploratory research whose data were collected by means of individual interviews with clients who were on hemodialysis therapy, using the Orem conceptions.

Results: 43 clients were included in self-care system totally compensatory for the needs of guidance: nutritional therapy, fluid intake, hemodialysis complications, anticoagulation physical activity, emotional problems has been the group membership and leisure activities.

Report on the experience of professors who conducted a workshop discussing the concepts of health vulnerability and resilience with students enrolled in Proiniciar, program implemented at the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), Brazil. Nursing, which essentially takes care of life, can stimulate education on self-care with the adoption of healthy daily habits in modern world life, and, moreover; propitiate self-care situations, transforming students into advocates of a healthy lifestyle.
