Neuronal damage caused by oxidative stress and inflammatory microenvironment dominated by microglia are the main obstacles in the treatment of Parkinson's disease (PD). In this study, we developed an integrated nanoreactor Q@CeBG by encapsulating CeO nanozyme and quercetin (Que) into glutathione-modified bovine serum albumin, and then selected focused ultrasound (FUS) to temporarily open the blood-brain barrier (BBB) to enhance the accumulation level of Q@CeBG in the brain. Q@CeBG exhibited superior multi-ROS scavenging activity.

Biochanin A (BCA) is a dietary isoflavone, isolated from the leaves and stems of L and many other herbs of Chinese medicine. Recent findings indicated BCA as a promising drug candidate with diverse bioactive effects. On the purpose of evaluating the possibility of BCA in clinical application, this review is trying to provide a comprehensive summary of the pharmacological actions of BCA.
