Objective: Evidence regarding the relationship between the hepatic steatosis index (HSI) and glycemic conversion outcomes in individuals with impaired fasting glucose (IFG) is still limited. Our study aims to explore the role of HSI in the reversion to normoglycemia or the progression to diabetes among Chinese IFG individuals.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis using data from 11,327 IFG individuals who had undergone wellness examinations at Rich Healthcare Group.

The results demonstrated that the four chloroplast genomes (157,914-157,962 bp) exhibited a typical quadripartite structure consisting of a large single copy (LSC) region, a small single copy (SSC) region, and a pair of reverse repeats (IRa and IRb), and the structure was highly conserved.
