View Article and Find Full Text PDFIntroduction: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a common tumor with high morbidity and mortality. Current specific diagnosis regarding CRC remains complicated and costly, and specific diagnostic biomarkers are lacking.
Methods: To find potential diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for CRC, we screened and analyzed many CRC sequencing data by The Cancer Genome Atlas Program and Gene Expression Omnibus, and validated that CEP55 may be a potential diagnostic biomarker for CRC by molecular cytological experiments and immunohistochemistry, among others.

In some tissues, changes in levels of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ) expression modulate hypoxia-induced pathological responses. In this study, novel exosomes (mag-BMSC-Exos) would be fabricated from BMSCs with the stimulation of MNPs and a static magnetic field (SMF) to further enhance wound repair.
Methods: Mag-BMSC-Exos, namely, exosomes derived from BMSCs preconditioned with FeO nanoparticles and a SMF, together with BMSC-Exos were both first isolated by ultracentrifugation, respectively.

SO-tolerant selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO at low temperature is still challenging. Traditional metal oxide catalysts are prone to be sulfated and the as-formed sulfates are difficult to decompose. In this study, we discovered that SO adsorption could be largely restrained over FeCeVO catalysts, which effectively restrained the deposition of sulfate species and endowed catalysts with strong SO tolerance at an extremely low temperature of 240 °C.
