Background: Abdominal pregnancy is characterized by the implantation of the gestational sac within the peritoneal cavity, specifically outside the fallopian tubes, ovaries, and cervix. This exceedingly rare form of ectopic pregnancy accounts for about 1% of all ectopic pregnancies. When rupture occurs, it can result in a life-threatening situation for the patient, necessitating immediate medical intervention.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFBackground: Intrauterine adhesion (IUA) is a common cause of clinically refractory infertility, and there exists significant heterogeneity in the treatment outcomes among IUA patients with the similar severity after transcervical resection of adhesion(TCRA). The underlying mechanism of different treatment outcomes occur remains elusive, and the precise contribution of various cell subtypes in this process remains uncertain.
Results: Here, we performed single-cell transcriptome sequencing on 10 human endometrial samples to establish a single-cell atlas differences between patients who responded to estrogen therapy and those who did not.
We have developed a glycosyl radical-based synthesis of -alkyl glycosides through a deoxygenative Giese addition-reduction-cyclization cascade, in which readily available 1-hydroxy carbohydrates serve as precursors for glycosyl radicals and aryl alkenes function as radical acceptors. This reaction not only provides an effective method for accessing a previously underexplored class of functionalized cyclopropanes but also enhances the application of Giese addition in the synthesis of -alkyl glycosides by derivatizing the radical intermediate generated through polar cyclization to yield a cyclopropane.

Background: Transcervical resection of adhesions (TCRA) is the standard treatment for intrauterine adhesion (IUA). Previous studies have shown that postoperative oral estrogen or an intrauterine physical barrier could reduce the recurrence of IUA by promoting the proliferation of the endometrium or inhibiting the reformation of adhesions. We report herein a deoxygenative radical multicomponent reaction involving alcohols, aryl alkenes, and cyanopyridine under photoredox conditions. This method is photoredox-neutral, suitable for late-stage modification, and compatible with a wide array of alcohols as alkyl radical sources, including primary, secondary, and tertiary alcohols. This reaction comprises a radical relay mechanism encompassing the Giese addition of aryl alkenes by alkyl radicals, followed by the decyanative pyridination of benzyl radicals.

We analyzed the correlation of new biomarkers with the severity of CIN and follow-up outcomes in patients after conization to improve the management of patients with CIN.
Methods: IHC staining of Eag1 and p16/Ki-67 was performed on cervical tissue sections from 234 patients with suspected CIN2/3.

Background: The aim was to investigate the relationship between the vitamin D (VitD) level and the incidence rate of subclinical hypothyroidism in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in early pregnancy.
Methods: Ninety eligible patients who underwent physical examination from March 2015 to September 2017 were selected. The levels of serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25-OH-VD), free thyroxine (FT4), free triiodothyronine (FT3), thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), and thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) were measured.
The Chinese Loess Plateau has been the cradle of Chinese civilization and the main human settlement in China for thousands of years, where anthropogenic activities are believed to have deeply eroded natural landscapes. After decades of minimal leopard sighting in forests of northern China, due to serious human interference, we recently discovered that the leopard population is recovering. This finding provides hope for successful biodiversity conservation in human-dominated ecosystems.

Unlabelled: To explore on the association between nucleic acid turning-negative-time and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) symptoms in coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients with the Omicron variant.
Method: For this retrospective cross-sectional study, we enrolled 189 patients with COVID-19 (age 20-90 years) were included. multiple linear regression models were used to investigate the TCM symptoms affecting the nucleic acid turning-negative-time of COVID-19 patients, during the process of data analysis, taking with nucleic acid turning-negative-time as the dependent variable, and TCM symptoms as independent variables, and at the same time, sex, age, hypertension, diabetes, and coronary heart disease were as confounding variables.
Camera traps are widely used in wildlife surveys and biodiversity monitoring. Depending on its triggering mechanism, a large number of images or videos are sometimes accumulated. Some literature has proposed the application of deep learning techniques to automatically identify wildlife in camera trap imagery, which can significantly reduce manual work and speed up analysis processes.
