Lignocellulosic nanofibril (LCNF) is indispensable in numerous potential applications because of its unsurpassed quintessential characteristics. While it still remains a challenge to assemble LCNF in a facile and environmental economy-first manner. In this work, a simple and green one-step synthetic approach was reported to prepare a series of LCNF-containing versatile hydrogels using deep eutectic solvent (DES).

Objective: To investigate the effects of lncRNA on the proliferation, invasion and migration of lymphoma cells through target gene and its molecular mechanism.
Methods: After synthesizing siRNA and siRNA NC plasmids, they were transfected into lymphoma Raji cells, respectively. The expression of mRNA was detected by RT-qPCR.
Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play a significant role in maintaining tissue morphology and functions, and their precise regulatory effectiveness is closely related to expression patterns. However, the spatial expression patterns of lncRNAs in humans are poorly characterized. Here, we constructed five comprehensive transcriptomic atlases of human lncRNAs covering thousands of major tissue samples in normal and disease states.

Objective: Our study aimed to investigate the level of depression, anxiety, and fatigue in patients with leukemias, and analyze the influence of sleep duration on the mental symptoms of patients with leukemias.
Methods: A total of 127 patients were enrolled in our study and completed the questionnaire survey. Self-Assessment Depression Scale (SDS), Self-Assessment Anxiety Scale (SAS), and the Fatigue Scale-14 (FS-14) were adopted.
Background: Autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (AHSCT) is a common method for the clinical treatment of malignant lymphomas that recur after conventional chemotherapy. It has been reported that its efficacy is better than conventional chemotherapy, but the efficacy of its first-line treatment is controversial, and the existing clinical randomized controlled trials have not yet reached a unified conclusion. This work intended to use meta-analysis to systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of AHSCT in the treatment of malignant lymphoma after high-dose chemotherapy, and draw reliable conclusions to provide reference and basis for clinical application.

A hemolysis image detection method based on generative adversarial networks (GANs) and convolutional neural networks (CNNs) with extreme learning machine (ELM) is proposed. First, the image enhancement and data enhancement are performed on a sample set, and GAN is used to expand the sample data volume.

Objectives: To evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of immunohistochemistry (IHC) for detecting common epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and to estimate the cost-effectiveness of IHC testing.
Methods: A total of 208 NSCLC patients were included in the trial, and the EGFR mutation status in the patients were detected by PCR and IHC. Two mutation-specific antibodies against the most common exon 19 deletion (clone SP111) and exon 21 L858R mutation (clone SP125) were tested by using automated immunostainer.
Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have been identified as naturally occurring RNAs that are highly represented in the eukaryotic transcriptome. Although a large number of circRNAs have been reported, the underlying regulatory mechanism of circRNAs biogenesis remains largely unknown. Here, we integrated in-depth multi-omics data including epigenome, transcriptome, and non-coding RNA and identified candidate circRNAs in six cellular contexts.

The 2019 WHO classification of digestive system tumors defines the classification of NENs as neuroendocrine tumors (NETs G1-G3) and neuroendocrine carcinomas (NECs). We investigated outer dense fiber of sperm tails 1 (ODF1) expression in 137 gastrointestinal tract NENs including 53 NETs G1, 29 NETs G2, 3 NETs G3, and 52 NECs.

In this study, the side-branching dynamics of dendritic structures formation in pure substances is studied upon the phase-field simulations of crystallization with applied direct currents. The effect of heat diffusion (including thermoelectric effect and undercooling) on the dendritic development is investigated, and the characteristics of the primary arms and side-branches are identified by implementing the image recognition technique.

To examine the expressions of epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM), vimentin and N-cadherin in breast cancer and its molecular subtypes, and to explore the correlation among them. Methods: The expressions of EpCAM, vimentin and N-cadherin were detected by immunohistochemistry in 835 patients with breast cancer, and their correlations with clinical pathological features and prognosis were analyzed. Results: The expression rates of EpCAM, vimentin and N-cadherin in the patients were 53.

Objective: To investigate clinicopathological and prognostic significance of epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM) expression in breast cancer and its molecular subtypes.
Methods: The expression of EpCAM in 835 patients with breast invasive ductal carcinoma was detected by immunohistochemical Max VisionTM method, and its correlation with clinical pathological features and prognosis was analyzed.
Results: The positive expression of EpCAM was related to histological grade, lymph node metastasis, tumor size, clinical stage, the expression of estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR) and HER2 (P<0.
The aim of the present study was to investigate the association between the apoptosis phenomenon in the MG-63 osteosarcoma cell line, and transglutaminase II (TG2) expression. The relationship between the anti-apoptotic mechanism of TG2 and the expression of cytochrome as well as caspase-3 under hypoxic conditions was also verified. A hypoxic culture of MG-63 cells was prepared.

An effective active heterostructured photocatalyst of porous SnO(2)-pillared tetratitanate nanocomposite is synthesized by assembling tetratitanate nanosheets with SnO(2) nanoparticles via an exfoliation-restacking route. The nanocomposite was characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, high-resolution transmission electron microscope, thermogravimetric analysis, UV-vis DRS, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and N(2) adsorption-desorption measurements. It was found that the pillared nanaocomposite is mesoporous with a gallery height of about 2 nm and a specific surface area of 154 m(2)/g.
