Lupus nephritis (LN) is a prominent manifestation of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), characterized by diverse clinical and histopathological features, imposing a substantial burden on patients. Although the exact cause of SLE remain undetermined, several genetic, epigenetics, hormonal, and other factors are implicated in LN pathogenesis.
