The locomotive action involves diverse coordination, necessitating the integration of multiple motor neural circuits. However, the precise circuitry mechanism governing emotion-driven accelerated locomotion remains predominantly elusive. Here we dissect projections from the tuberomammillary nucleus (TMN) to subiculum (SUB) which promote alert-driven accelerated locomotion.

is a traditional Chinese medicine for treating gastrointestinal diseases by nourishing "Yin" and thickening the stomach lining. To study whether endophytes can colonize the intestinal tract and regulate gut microbiota in mice, we used autoclave steam sterilizing and Co- radiation to eliminate endophytes from its juice. Then, high-throughput ITS1-ITS2 rDNA and 16S rRNA gene amplicons were sequenced to analyze the microbial community of endophytes and fecal samples of mice after administration of fresh juice.

It is also widely used as a traditional medicine to strengthen "Yin", nourish heart, tonify five viscera, remove arthralgia, relieve fatigue, thicken stomach, lighten body, and prolong life span. These traditional applications are in consistent with modern pharmacological studies, which have demonstrated that exhibits various biological functions, such as cardioprotective, anti-tumor, gastrointestinal protective, anti-diabetes, immunomodulatory, anti-aging, and anti-osteoporosis effects.

Through simplifying the model, we derived analytical expression of thermal current of the system in the overdamped case. By means of numerical calculations, the results indicate that: (i) As the coupling displacement d equals to zero, temperature oscillations of the heat baths linked with the lattices can control magnitude and direction of the thermal current; (ii) Whether there is a temperature bias or not, the thermal current oscillates periodically with d, whose amplitudes become greater and greater; (iii) As d is not equal to zero, the thermal current monotonically both increases and decreases with temperature oscillation amplitude of the heat baths, dependent on values of d; (iv) The coupling displacement also induces nonmonotonic behaviors of the thermal current vs spring constant of the lattice and coupling strength of the lattices; (v) These dynamical behaviors come from interaction of the coupling displacement with periodic potential of the FK lattices.
