Facile Synthesis of TiO-SiO-PO/CaO/ZnO with a Core-Shell Structure for Bone Implantation.

A facile synthesis method was developed to synthesize TiO-SiO-PO/CaO or TiO-SiO-PO/ZnO with a core-shell structure. The carboxylic cation exchanger Tokem-250 has a high selectivity for Ca/Zn ions and was used in this study. The framework of the material in the shell was TiO-SiO-PO, and the inner part was filled with CaO (sample TiO-SiO/CaO) or ZnO (sample TiO-SiO-PO/ZnO).
