Objective: We sought to compare the diagnostic performances of a commercialized enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) using C7 noncollagenous (NC) domains (C7-NC1/NC2 ELISA) and indirect immunofluorescence (IIF) biochip test on NC1-C7-expressing transfected cells (IIFT), with a full-length-C7 ELISA developed in our laboratory.
Methods: C7-NC1/NC2 ELISA, IIFT, and full-length-C7 ELISA were run on 77 nonselected consecutive EBA sera.
Chromoblastomycosis is a rare and chronic cutaneous and subcutaneous infection caused by black fungi and mostly reported in tropical and subtropical areas. Here we report the first case of chromoblastomycosis from Bangladesh. Molecular biology permitted to identify Fonsecaea nubica, and the patient responded well to antifungal treatment alone.

Background: Psoriasis is a common chronic immune-mediated disease resulting from interactions of a genetic background with environmental triggering factors such as stress and infection. So far, there is very limited information available about the impact of vaccine stimuli on psoriasis course.
Objective: To collect cases of psoriasis flares occurring after vaccination through a national survey.
Importance: Primary cutaneous diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, leg type (PCDLBCL-LT), occurs in elderly patients and has been considered as a lymphoma with a poor prognosis, with estimated 5-year specific survival rates of approximately 50%. The hypothesis of an improvement in prognosis over time has not been studied.
Objectives: To evaluate this hypothesis in a large series of patients and investigate factors associated with prognosis as well as improvement in the prognosis.
Chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) is a rare clonal hematopoietic disorder that can also involve the skin. It has been described with primary cutaneous lymphomas, mostly of the subcutaneous panniculitis-like T-cell type, and only once with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL).
Methods: We report the cases of 5 patients with epidermotropic CTCL who developed LAHS and died shortly thereafter.
Background: Mucous membrane pemphigoid (MMP) still represents a potentially life- and sight-threatening disease. In a subset of patients with severe MMP, conventional immunosuppressants are ineffective or contraindicated.
Observations: Twenty-five patients with severe refractory MMP, including 5 with mucous membrane-dominant epidermolysis bullosa acquisita, received 1 or 2 cycles of rituximab (375 mg/m(2) weekly for 4 weeks).

The ISCL/EORTC recommends revisions to the Mycosis Fungoides Cooperative Group classification and staging system for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL). These revisions are made to incorporate advances related to tumor cell biology and diagnostic techniques as pertains to mycosis fungoides (MF) and Sézary syndrome (SS) since the 1979 publication of the original guidelines, to clarify certain variables that currently impede effective interinstitution and interinvestigator communication and/or the development of standardized clinical trials in MF and SS, and to provide a platform for tracking other variables of potential prognostic significance. Moreover, given the difference in prognosis and clinical characteristics of the non-MF/non-SS subtypes of cutaneous lymphoma, this revision pertains specifically to MF and SS.
